Donald Trump wants to be recognized as a peacemaker. His deputies obliged today by putting his name on the headquarters of the U.S. Institute of Peace, an agency that DOGE tried to kill. The new name -- the Donald J. Trump Institute of Peace -- "adds insult to injury," said a lawyer for USIP staff.

Donald Trump is floridly mentally ill.

He has been so for all of his squalid life, and since certain people have chosen to make him into a god, the man has chosen to believe that.

Lewzer's obsession with the Nobel Peace Prize exceeds that of Ahab and the White Whale.

Somehow, he thinks all he needs to win it is an ad campaign. It's pretty pathetic.

He'll get the fake FIFA Peace Prize tomorrow, but that will only satisfy him for a day at most.

Trump authorizes 529 airstrikes in 5 months, nears Biden's 4-year total

From AI

In 2025, the United States conducted multiple airstrikes in Somalia targeting terrorist groups like ISIS-Somalia and Al-Shabaab, often in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia. These strikes occurred in various regions, including Puntland, and the frequency of strikes increased compared to previous years, with one source citing over 100 strikes in total for 2025, according to a Facebook post.
Multiple strikes in late 2025: The United States Africa Command (AFRICOM) announced several airstrikes against ISIS-Somalia in November 2025, including on November 21, 22, and 25. An additional strike was conducted on October 27 in the Golis Mountains area.
Targeting terrorist groups: These airstrikes were conducted in coordination with the Federal Government of Somalia, with the stated aim of degrading ISIS-Somalia's and Al-Shabaab's ability to operate.
Increased frequency: The number of US airstrikes in Somalia significantly increased in 2025. One report mentioned 101 strikes by late November, a notable increase from previous years, according to a Facebook post.
Civilian casualties: While official reports from AFRICOM state that civilians were not harmed in many of these specific strikes, casualty figures from other sources may vary.
Other military action: In addition to airstrikes, the African Union Support and Stabilization Mission in Somalia (AUSSOM) became operational in January 2025, succeeding the previous ATMIS mission

@4 ... So needy. ...

OK, let's go with "needy."

I have other words in mind, but I'll bow to "needy" for the nonce.

So needy.

Could you imagine what Obama would be doing if he was as envious and insecure as Lewzer?

He'd be touring the country with his Nobel Peace Prize medal, yapping endlessly about how great is was to have earned it.

Trump: Needy baby, greedy baby.

The law is pretty clear, such a thing cannot not be done except after the death of the individual.

I'm sure some contractor is probably charging taxpayers millions of dollars per letter for each change.

Oh yeah, quite the peace-maker. Maybe it applies if you feel that breaking our country into shattered pieces is "peace-making".
