In a video filmed after the incident, Grijalva said she joined a group of protesters assembled outside Taco Giro, a "small mom-and-pop" restaurant in Tucson Grijalva said she visits weekly.

By the time she arrived, she said, the protesters had "stopped" a squadron of dozens of mostly masked Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents.

Trump's masked thugs have made it clear: If you run into the Brownshirts and you "look" Hispanic (whatever that means) or "speak" Spanish, like hundreds of millions of people throughout the Americas do daily, well, Brett Kavanaugh says that might be "inconvenient."

But only if you get caught on the receiving end of good, old-fashioned, rampant, raging Yanqui racialism.

Who's next?

Pure, unadulterated nasty white supremacist racism over the untermenschen Latinos and Hispanics.

Good gosh, when will the "Sharks" ever learn that they will never become "Jets," no matter how hard they try?

Special agents and officers from ICE Homeland Security Investigations and the IRS, joined by federal partners, are executing 16 search warrants in southern Arizona related to immigration and tax violations," a Department of Homeland Security statement Friday morning.

So, this was a broader investigation...

She wasn't sprayed. She may have caught some downwind but no one sprayed her. Play stupid games, win stupid prizes.

A broader investigation to see who else they could try to intimidate?

@#6 ... She wasn't sprayed. She may have caught some downwind but no one sprayed her. ...

The only problem with that is that ICE has been shown to prevaricate regarding these types of occurrences.

So to rely upon what ICE is saying, even though it may be what your current trolling alias wants to hear, in this incident is foolish, imo.

From the cited article ...

... In a video clip taken from another angle, a projectile lands behind Grijalva, producing a cloud at the her feet as she steps toward an officer.

"When I presented myself as a Member of Congress asking for more information, I was pushed aside and pepper sprayed," she wrote.

In a statement, DHS said immigration agents' actions were not aimed at the representative. ...

So these protesters were impeding the execution of a legal process. Hmm, where have we heard that before...?

Stories like this really are not helping to fight fascism. You can't have it both ways.

Oh so it's fascism.
And it's legal fascism.
Sounds like Trump can have it both ways.

#11- FLAG: FacePalm!

You're basically defining "fascism" as the implementation of any law you disagree with or deem to be "unfair", and therefore it's okay for protesters to "stop" the legal implementation of it. You're in J6 territory now.

You're the one who called it fascism:

The protesters think they're fighting fascism. I agree that a lot of things Trump does are similar to fascism. However, the specific action these protesters were "stopping"/impeding was not an example of fascism. It's legitimate for people to express forms of speech to protest government actions they disagree with, but once they start doing things to physically "stop" or impede them then it's crossed the line beyond constitutionally protected speech or expression. Do you disagree?
