Drudge Retort: The Other Side of the News
Wednesday, March 18, 2026

Last month, Illinois U.S. Senate candidate Juliana Stratton (the state's progressive lieutenant governor) ran an ad with a not-so-subtle message regarding our president: "F--- Trump." Stratton herself doesn't say this, but she lets multiple other people say it for her. The crude campaign stunt got me thinking: Is this really what Democratic voters want? (That primary election is March 17, as I write this, so it's TBD if her messaging worked.) There's a growing disconnect in America. As our political parties move further to their respective extremes, most voters fall somewhere in between. Whether Republican or Democrat, the majority of Americans simply want what's best for their families and for their country. The Democratic Party is having an especially hard time connecting with its constituents, as witnessed by a steady stream of polls showing just how bad off it is.

It's not what Democrats want.
Is video of Republicans bombing people who were peacefully exercising their first amendment right to freedom of speech and assembly with diarrhea from a fighter jet what Republicans want?

Also, still waiting on you to tell us how much Howard Schultz has paid in income tax to Washington. I've asked you a few times to clarify your statement and you've so far avoided doing so. You've said before you don't lie so I figured you must have had those numbers handy and ready to present to support your statement.

Bellringer, I assume you aren't actually interested in discussing this article since you offered none of your own commentary on it.

I'll use this opportunity to ask if people think US intelligence failed so badly that Trump was serious when he recently said in response to a question about Iran attacking neighboring states that "They weren't supposed to go after all these other countries in the Middle East. Nobody expected that. We were shocked."
If you don't think US intelligence failed at that level then why did Trump make such a statement? Was he simply lying to try to avoid blame? Is he of such diminished capacity that he doesn't remember being told that such attacks were an expected reaction from Iran? Some other reason?

What about the polling CorkyDaBigot?

Slaughter the source all you want, but the content of the poll is her focus, and you really don't seem to have any thoughts on that.

Isn't that all the US intelligence does is fail? But to the point, if a country wanted TheBOMB, it should at least behave like a sane country when using missiles. What Iran did is make it clear that if it had the bomb, it would use it in a spastic "kill'em all" sort of way.

Did you think Iran would attack its neighbors? I don't recall you saying they would. It would be reasonable for Iran to attack US/Israel military installations around the globe, and in Israel and the US. I don't believe anyone thought Iran would send drones to kill civilians indiscriminately in neighboring countries, did you?

Did you hear about the 400 people killed yesterday? Why do you think we haven't?

Alright, lets work on making The Trump the Santorum of our decade! Campaign for the neologism "santorum"

I've never heard of The Santorum but the description does not surprise me. That as*hole is so sanctimonious it's nauseating.
