I think an American moon base is still doable, just as long as it is located somewhere on Earth-- perhaps in Gaza, Venezuela or Cuba. In the same vein, I think a colony on The Red Planet is also a distinct possibility-- by declaring in a 3 AM post on Truth Social that Greenland will henceforth be known as Mars would be a good start.
