"In a zero-sum negotiation, Iran's monomaniacal focus is a greater currency than American military power," Karim Sadjadpour argues.

Islamic Republic has never been willing to trade its revolutionary principles for prosperity [Sadjadpour argues]. As recently as May 26, Mojtaba Khamenei used the hajj"Islam's most universal gathering"as an occasion to warn that the "terrorist" U.S. military was no longer safe in the Middle East, and that the "cancerous tumor of Israel" would soon experience the "final days of their wretched existence." And the Trump administration appears to have little illusion about Iran's priorities. Secretary of State Marco Rubio said during a recent state visit in India that "Iran would rather invest in the rapists and murderers of Hamas" than in its own people."

"US Secretary of State Marco Rubio bleated during a recent state visit in India that "Iran would rather invest in the rapists and murderers of Hamas" than in its own people."

Everybody surfing the global internet has seen Dummkopf Trumpf invest in "rapists and murderers" by pardoning the 6 Jan insurrectionists against the US government.

Most of the world does not see Hamas as "rapists and murderers" but as a resistance movement against Israeli genociding Palestinians and stealing their land, like 19th-century colonists in Africa or America's "Indian fighters."

Most of the world has recognized the State of Palestine.

Idiotic, childish comments like this are why nobody on the planet takes Empty Suit Marco Rubio seriously.

And Iran has achieved 95% of its universal healthcare initiative for all its citizens, soon to be 100% like Mexico will have in 2027.

WTF do we have here in the US?

*** Is The US Back to the 'Forever Wars?' Vermont ARNG Deploying 500 Soldiers to Middle East ***

FTA:

"[The VTARNG Soldiers] are heading to USCENTCOM, a large military region that includes the Middle East. The mission, dubbed Spartan Shield, includes securing bases in that area. It was planned a year and a half ago, but now it coincides with the illegal US war against Iran being fought by US forces to benefit Israel.

Sources say the unlawful US war against the people of Iran is not part of the VTARNG mission, but since there are now boots on the ground in that region, it's possible these citizen-soldiers could be called on to support the unconstitutional and economically bankrupting war effort."

Lindsey Graham branded pathetic' for saying Nobel Peace Prize should be renamed Trump Prize
www.independent.co.uk

... Senator Lindsey Graham has been branded "pathetic" after he called for the Nobel Peace Prize to be renamed after President Trump.

Graham made the remark while speaking about Trump's suggestion that Middle Eastern nations should sign up to the Abraham Accords amid efforts to end the war with Iran.

If the president succeeds, Graham says the prestigious peace award should be renamed as the "Trump Prize."

"If he can pull this off, if he can get Saudi Arabia, the center of Islam for the entire world, to recognize the Jewish state Israel, he'll have ended the Arab-Israeli conflict that's been going on for thousands of years," Graham claimed on Wednesday's episode of Fox News' Hannity. ...

It has taken a colossal mistake by Der Dotard for the US population to recognize what they have been told for years: Trump is a bad negotiator, a lousy businessman and a child in an adults world. He will either bend to Iran, restart the war or present voters with gasoline at more than $4 per gallon. Trumps 2018 mistake of unwinding the agreement Obama negotiated has this country in the position of never going back to terms as favorable as those we once had. The Trump comedy duo of a condo salesman and little wooden boy do not have the skill to win such a deal. Trump is making America worse, one quip at a time ...

Pres Trump's war : War of choice, peace of desperation.

Three big takeaways for the Iranian regime from Trump's War:
(1) Seldom will an adversary just hand you the deck, trust your elaborate shuffle and then bleat: "Name the game and the rules." But should that occur, squeeze that opportunity for everything you've got.
(2) The nukes are gold - go for it, the fast and dirtier the better.
(3) Despite the way he sounds, appears, and behaves, Donald Trump may have some life left in him yet. Pray the Americans are saddled with him full term.

Nota Bene: The Atlantic and their "liberal" writers hardly ever criticize Israel and they demonized the pro-Palestine Samaritans all throughout 2024.

Their editors have appeared on MSNBC glossing over Israel's brutal ethnic cleansing of the Palestinians and they use hyperbolic language for the Iranians, like this article: "monomaniacal focus."

Jeepers!

This is a subtle form of "yellow journalism" designed to put Democrats and academics into the pro-Israel camp, since Republicans and MAGAts don't read the The Atlantic.

There are many other citations I can link, but I'm running late and so I'm off.

You can see for yourself via Captain Google.

Just one source of many: Subtle and not-so subtle Islamophobia

@#9 ... Three big takeaways for the Iranian regime from Trump's War: ...

I'd say that there is one thing that Pres Trump has educated Iran about, as a result of his unprovoked war ...

And that thing is ...

Iran has a major leverage point: the Strait of Hormuz.

Before Pres Trump's war of choice against Iran, the Strait was wide open, with 100+ ships navigating through it each and every day with no issues. Iran was doing nothing, nada, to control or stifle the traffic through the Strait.

But Pres Trump changed that, and now we have a global energy crisis.

Now, one of Pres Trump's goals to end his war is to reopen the Strait. Emphasis of the "re" part of that.

That's not a "win," it is an admission of defeat.

And then there is the document that Pres Trump abandoned in 2018, in which Iran agreed to never have nuclear weapons and also agreed to invasive onsite inspections by international teams.

I await the "deal" Pres Trump is currently negotiating with Iran. And I do hope it will be an improvement over the past.

Iran has a major leverage point: the Strait of Hormuz.

I'm pretty sure Iran already knew that. So did most everyone else.

Israel has a big ground invasion going in in Lebanon now, so that should calm things down.

@#14 ... I'm pretty sure Iran already knew that. So did most everyone else. ...

I do not disagree.

And I have heard that it seemed the Military Chiefs even warned Pres Trump about that (Iran's shutting of the Strait). And Pres Trump just dismissed their warnings about it because he (Pres Trump) was all puffed up about the success of the Venezuelan operation, and he (Pres Trump) thought Iran would be a similar ~in and out~ accomplishment.

So, yeah, I agree that Iran had known that, but Pres Trump seemed to have taught Iran how to use that power to destroy the worlds' economy.

And, in the end, Pres Trump seems to be losing.

*** 'The Hills Have Eyes' US Senator from Florida Lambastes Dummkopf Trumpf ***

Mega-Goniff Florida Sen. Rick Scott (R-Israel) on Dummkopf Trumpf's $300bn Iran reparation fund report:

"The Republicans are NOT the party of Barack Obama!"

"Iran wants a reparation fund? There will NEVER be a DIME of American money to be spent on reparations for Iran!"

"By the way, is Iran going to go rebuild Gaza after they destroyed it with Hamas, or they could rebuild Lebanon after they destroyed it with Hezbollah, or rebuild Yemen, which are destroying with the Houthis they support?!"

"I'm hopeful the whole Trumpf can get a deal, I don't, I'm very pessimistic that will happen, so I think we're going to have to go back and destroy the Revolutionary Guard."

Source: This Goniff Made Millions Stealing from US Healthcare Programs

~snip~

"Argh! Who cares if this idiotic war to help Israel now costs the American taxpayer almost $100bn? Hamas and Islam must be destroyed! Gargh! I've got millions and millions of dollars and don't give sh*t about gas or grocery prices or your lack of universal healthcare! MIGA! Argh! And don't trust the Iranians who we sneak-attacked like the Japs did to us at Pearl Harbor! I'm not a zombie-cannibal! I only act and look like one! Hamas! Pflargh!"
