... The moment occurred Wednesday at Naval Air Station Oceana in Virginia Beach, where Vance addressed military personnel during an event honoring the nation's armed forces. What began as a self-deprecating remark about descending the stairs from Air Force Two quickly evolved into a political jab referencing Biden's well-publicized stumbles while in office. Video clips circulating on social media appeared to show little or no audible audience response after the punchline, fueling criticism across political platforms. I am not at all surprised that military service members would be reluctant to laugh at a joke demeaning an ex-President.

JD Vance is on thin ice with veterans and military for many reasons including his ambushing President Zelensky in the White House as it was being broadcast live to Moscow by Russia TV (RT), and for obsequiously sucking up to Trump & Trump's sons as they bounce from one episode of kleptocracy to another.
This E-4 veteran cannot count on pulling off a Hegseth-acting-as-Patton insult-fest with today's military who see the flaws of Trump every morning after his non-stop bi-polar social media craziness, or the wrong-doings of his Cabinet appointees and other officials.

JD Vance (and his other 3 names) has no more charisma than a stalk of broccoli.
