... Like President Donald Trump, Burgum said he was 100% sure that vandals caused the damage to the century-old Reflecting Pool on the National Mall. Trump has charged that a 350-foot gash was cut into the pool's liner in the midst of recent renovations, while Burgum described it as multiple cuts adding up to that figure. He also said the pool would have to be at least partially drained in the coming week to finish the repairs.

The repairs will not be opened up to new contractors, he said.

"We'll use the same company, because they did a fantastic job," Burgum told CNN's "State of the Union." ...

So far, the only possible vandalism that I have seen evidence of was Pres Trump's motorcade driving across the Reflecting Pool.

His big 80th birthday party is over, why would he care?

Yeah. The reflecting pool crisis is old Trumpified news now. No longer a crisis.

Trumpy's bored with that deflection. Didn't work out the way he planned.

Time for Trumpy to gin up another Epstein deflection crisis before Americans start asking embarrassing questions again.

Many people are saying the the skilled craftsmen at Four Seasons Landscaping could help with the work, and with public relations...

"It's very strong. You couldn't - if you had a knife - I don't want to give anybody ideas. If you had a knife, you can't even cut it, so strong, so powerful." - Donald Trump on May 4th, before any reports of damage

I'm starting to wonder if the incompetence was part of the plan. What are the odds Trump would talk nonsense about cutting the pool with a knife only for him to end up claiming it actually happened?

How convenient that the Trump-friendly company gets to overcharge for the job twice!
