"But the main reason Trump wants Blanche for the job came at the end of the post.

The president lauded Blanche"who prior to his stint in the Justice Department served as Trump's personal attorney"for representing him throughout several criminal trials.

Blanche defended Trump in his New York hush-money case, his classified documents case, the federal 2020 presidential election interference case, as well as the Fulton County, Georgia, RICO case.

As an apparent reward for Blanche's ongoing loyalty, Trump gave him a plum position with the Justice Department.

Since then, Blanche has utilized his office to enact Trump's retribution campaign against his perceived enemies, attempted to force through the president's $1.8 billion taxpayer-funded slush fund, worked to squash the Epstein files, and has even arrested local officials"such as Newark Mayor Ras Baraka "for attempting to conduct oversight of ICE's regional detention facilities.

"He is a great lawyer, always very fair, and every Republican Senator should vote to CONFIRM Todd Blanche, ASAP!" Trump concluded."

Blanch is the first attorney in US history to defend a President against criminal charges. That's a noteworthy achievement.
Of course he is also the first attorney in US history to fail to successfully defend a President against criminal charges which is far less impressive.

"Thank you very much. I love you, sirrrrrrrrrr."

That's why Trump wants Blanche: spineless suckup with the usual mega MAGA daddy issues.
What a pathetic bunch of man-babies.

Blanche is doing everything he can both legal and illegal to keep Pedo Donny's Trumpstein files hidden.

Re 4

Blanche just testified under oath that he could not release the Epstein Files because of law did not allow it until Congress demanded it.

Then in his next breath ( or was it his previous breath) lied and said Biden could have released those very same files that he himself just said could not be released until Congress's demanded it.

Oops. Blanche just slipped up and admitted he is Trumpy's personal lawyer.

@#6 ... Blanche just slipped up and admitted he is Trumpy's personal lawyer. ...

That was an astounding admission for him to say.

Wait. a "fair lawyer'? An attorney is supposed to be a zealous advocate for his/her client, not 'fair'. Trump had a woody for Roy Cohn because the guy was a wolverine for his clients, trying to either rip their throats out or delay proceedings until someone dies. In his present role as chief of retribution, Toddy is doing what his boss wants, and doing so with a cheap veneer of legalistic justification.

For those who haven't been paying attention, when Der Dotard says 'fair' he means 'my side wins and wins bigly'. That is what DD wants from Toddy...
