#53 "Who doesn't what this?"

People who want to see Republicans win.

That's who.

You're putting the cart before the horse, my friend.

Get the absolute political power in Washington DC, then you can enact that.

Anything less is just giving Republicans ammunition against the one and only alternative: The Democratic Party.

What are you doing to ensure that the next Democratic president has an overwhelming majority in Congress (absolute political power - the SCOTUS can then be dealt with).

So, WTF are you doing to ensure that there's an overwhelming Democratic victory in November ... which you keep referencing, Coriolanus ? ? ? ?

WTF are you doing to ensure that there's an overwhelming Democratic victory in November, 2028 ... which you keep referencing, Coriolanus ? ? ? ?

Because all I see is you tearing down the Democratic Party because they're not pure enough for you.

You hate the Democratic Party?

Fine.

Do your damage, Coriolanus.

But don't kid yourself into thinking that you're fighting the good fight.

Cause if you even listen to some on the right side of the aisle right here on Drudge, they've actually thanked you for damning Democrats.

Is that you goal?

You're welcome, my friend.

The winning ticket platform for any POTUS candidate in 2028:

1) Immediately abolish ICE and DHS. First by Executive Order, and then through Congress. On 20 Jan 2029, immediately after the WH luncheon, this E.O. can be in the Federal Register by 1600 hours: "All ICE and DHS personnel will operate unarmed and unmasked at all times and will bring aliens before Immigration Judges (IJ) for due process. Should DHS or ICE personnel feel insecure about conducting their mission, the USAG will deploy one pair of armed DUSMs to accompany them. A Presidential Task Force will then purge the DHS and ICE records of Americans and Permanent Residents obtained without warrant."

2) Immediately stop funding Israel. First by Executive Order, and then through Congress. This E.O. can be published in the Federal Register by 1605 Hours, 20 Jan 2029: "The US government immediately stops sending hardworking American taxpayer dollars to the State of Israel."

3) Expand Medicare for all to provide Americans with universal healthcare, as enjoyed by the residents of Germany, Israel, Canada, Iran, Cuba, Greenland, tiny Albania, and in 2027, Mexico.

4) Investigate all oligarchs who made billions under the nefandous Trumpf junta and use the federal courts to claw back their ill-gotten pelf with lawsuits.

5) Enlarge the size of the Supreme Court by adding enough Justices to outnumber the reactionary Republicans who have constipated the execution of justice for years. There is no Constitutional limit on the number of SCOTUS Justices nor is there a legal requirement that a justice must be an attorney.

Southern states rush to draw new Congressional districts after Supreme Court ruling

A movement is underway that could alter the political landscape for generations to come in the Deep South. Republican-controlled states are rushing to consolidate GOP power after the Supreme Court further gutted the Voting Rights Act in a case out of Louisiana. Two weeks ago, the court limited how race can be used to draw the borders of congressional districts. Black voters say that their voices are now at stake. NPR's Debbie Elliott reports.

Apparently, enough changed their voting habits/registration to produce this, bell boi.

You're welcome.

'Tis amazing how those born, raised and still living in Michigan can opine on the voting habits of Southerners, the majority of whom bell boi only knows from this:

Hee Haw, bell boi.

According to Republicans, Catholic nuns are too stupid to vote.

Retired nuns barred from voting in Indiana

At least 10 retired nuns in South Bend, Indiana, were barred from voting in today's Indiana primary election because they lacked photo IDs required under a state law that the supreme court upheld last week.

Thanks for highlighting that, bell boi.

FIFA World Cup hotel bookings falling short of expectations in US cities, report finds
www.abc10.com

... The anticipated hotel boom tied to the upcoming FIFA World Cup may be falling short of expectations, according to a new report.

The American Hotel & Lodging Association released a report on Monday, highlighting the challenges faced by hotels across the U.S. in the lead up to the international soccer tournament. The report said that, across host cities, hotels have not seen strong bookings and that domestic travelers are outpacing international visitors.

"Hotels across host markets have spent years preparing for the World Cup, and while there is real excitement, the data points to a more nuanced outlook," Rosanna Maietta, president & CEO of AHLA, said in a news release. "A range of factors have tempered early optimism, though forward indicators show there is still meaningful opportunity ahead."

According to AHLA, the FIFA room block cancellations, international travel barriers and rising costs have contributed to the shortcomings. ...

Kansas City had the highest number of hotel owners, roughly 85% to 90%, report below expectations, just trailing behind a typical June or July without any major events. In Boston, Philadelphia, San Francisco and Seattle, nearly 80% of respondents said booking pace was less than expected, with some calling the tournament a "non-event" due to FIFA room releases and weak international fan visits.

According to the report, Miami and Atlanta have reported the strongest numbers with just 50% of hotelier respondents saying the bookings are in line or ahead of expectations.

"Republicans would rather a pregnant woman die, than allow her get a medically needed abortion.

"This is just who these people are."

Indeed, Snoofy:
The Capitalized Womb

What the "underbabied" panic, the abortion bans, and the mass deportations really have in common.

'Tis all so obvious.. and predictable, Snoofy.

Xi doesn't hold ALL of the cards. The Iranians have a strait.

Apparently, this is what TheBullExcrement meant when he said
"Owning the libs never felt so good.".

Is there an entry in the DSM-5-TR for political masochism?

Cause "feeling good" about humiliation is...

... well, I'm sure it's in there somewhere.

More from the article ...

... Several reports indicate the U.S. is losing international visitors. According to a new assessment by the World Travel & Tourism Council, 80 million more people traveled internationally in 2025 compared with 2024, making it a bumper year for global travel. However, the U.S. did not benefit from the increase. Visitor numbers dropped by 5.5%, and international spending fell to $176 billion from $184 billion.

Canadian travelers have turned away from the U.S. in large numbers. There were 4.2 million fewer Canadians crossing the border in 2025, discouraged by the Trump administration's tariff policies and comments about making Canada the 51st state.

Visitors from Germany, India, and France have also declined significantly. As a region, North America saw just 1% growth, compared with global tourism growth of 4.1%.

It has not helped that several countries updated their travel advisories for the U.S. last year, adding warnings about anti-LGBTQ+ policies and stricter border scrutiny.

Tourists have reportedly been detained and deported, and the U.S. is considering expanding reviews of visitors' social media history. Policies like these have made travelers wary, with more choosing alternative destinations.

In contrast, China is gaining ground. In 2025, international visitor spending there rose 10.5% to $135 billion. The report notes that the world's second-largest tourism market is closing the gap, while the Asia-Pacific region is the fastest-growing globally. ...

This Mamdani faux outrage is nothing but running cover for the atrocities of a report released, as well as the violence that took place in NYC against the synagogues and Jews in the streets, last night.

The most comprehensive report to date on October 7, with 400 witnesses and experts, finds that Hamas has 'deliberately and systematically resorted to sexual and gender-based violence.'

A new report, published on Tuesday, May 12, by The Civil Commission, a private Israeli organization, documents the severity of sexual violence committed by Hamas fighters on October 7, 2023, and during the subsequent captivity of hostages held in Gaza. To compile this 280-page investigation, the non-governmental organization, which specializes in studying violence against women and children, said it collected more than 400 accounts from survivors, first responders, soldiers, former hostages and experts. The group also relied on more than 10,000 photos and videos taken during the terrorist attack launched by the Palestinian Islamist organization against Israel.

Reading the document is particularly harrowing, reflecting the scale of the violence committed on October 7, when more than 1,200 people of all ages were killed and 251 hostages, both living and dead, were taken captive to Gaza. "Hamas and its collaborators deployed recurring tactics of sexual abuse and torture against victims. These crimes were marked by extreme cruelty and profound human suffering, often inflicted in ways designed to amplify terror and humiliation," the authors of the report emphasize.
