Sen. Chuck Schumer urged Israel to hold new elections as he criticized the country's PM Benjamin Netanyahu. Senate Leader Schumer said Netanyahu has "lost his way" and is standing in the way of efforts to negotiate peace in the region.
Strange interfering with another countries elections.
Especially when:
Another survey conducted by the Israel Democracy Institute (IDI) shows that about two-thirds (63 percent) of the Jewish public do not support Israel agreeing in principle to an independent and demilitarized Palestinian state. The gap between the political camps is large: on the left, the majority (77 percent) supports a statehood agreement in principle, while only 48 percent of the center and 22 percent of the right agree. In contrast, most of Israel's Arab citizens (73 percent) support such an agreement in principle. A tiny minority of the Jewish respondents believe that terrorism will stop if a Palestinian state is established. On the contrary, 44 percent think that a Palestinian state is "a prize for terror" and will result in more attacks.
What is the best way to obtain the release of the hostages?" and 81.5 percent answered that "military pressure should be applied to Hamas so that it agrees to acceptable conditions for the release of the abductees." This is something that Netanyahu and his military chiefs repeat every day.

Biden says Schumer's concerns on Israel shared by many Americans
www.reuters.com
... President Joe Biden said on Friday that U.S. Senator Chuck Schumer echoed the concerns of many Americans when he called for new elections in Israel and harshly criticized Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu as an obstacle to peace.
"He made a good speech," Biden said in the White House's Oval Office, when asked by reporters about remarks by Schumer, the Senate majority leader, on the chamber's floor on Thursday.
"He expressed a serious concern, shared not only by him but by many Americans," Biden said, adding that Schumer notified him and his staff in advance about the speech.
Schumer, a longtime supporter of Israel and the highest-ranking Jewish U.S. elected official, told the Senate on Thursday that Netanyahu's government "no longer fits the needs of Israel" five months into a war that began with attacks on Israel by Hamas militants on Oct. 7. ...
Except they did have their own state. And chose to start a war with Israel. #38 | Posted by madbomber
Yeah, that's the way it works.
In order to stop Israel's neighbors from normalizing relations with it, Iran orders Hamas to commit atrocities severe that Israel will have no choice but to respond militarily.
Hamas then volunteers Palestinian civilians to die for the cause by cutting off their exits, and then cries, as is the Palestinian wont. And then a bunch of virtue-signalling Westerners fall for it hook, line and sinker. Because falling for Iranian manipulation and propaganda is their wont.
"Claiming that Israel is funding Hamas would be big news."
Or at least an Op-Ed!
OP-ED
For years, Netanyahu propped up Hamas. Now it's blown up in our faces
The premier's policy of treating the terror group as a partner, at the expense of Abbas and Palestinian statehood, has resulted in wounds that will take Israel years to heal from

Palestinians got exactly what the Iranians wanted when the Iranians ordered the October 7, 2023 massacre of Israeli civilians. To stop Saudi Arabia from normalizing relations with Israel:
September 23, 2023 - U.S. talks for a landmark deal with Saudi Arabia and Israel are gaining steam The proposed deal would see Saudi Arabia normalize relations with Israel in exchange for a U.S. defense pact and help developing its own civilian nuclear program, sources told NBC News." www.nbcnews.com
The only Palestinian/Iranian purpose for targeting and murdering 1,000 Israeli civilians was to provoke Israel into a strong response. Anyone who doesn't see it is either incredibly naive or willfully ignoring the Iranian/Palestinian manipulation.
"sabotage of Saudi-Israeli normalization via October 7."
Saudi Arabia's ambassador to the UK says it is interested in normalising relations with Israel after the war in Gaza, but that any deal must lead to the creation of a Palestinian state.

Israel will sabotage the creation of a Palestinian state.
Israel has been sabotaging that for 25 years.
"You're living in a time where the arabs didn't want Israel to exist."
Why stop at Arabs, let's hear from the Jews:
a survey conducted by the Jewish Electorate Institute in June and July 2021 found that 22 percent of Jews believed that Israel was "committing genocide against the Palestinians", while 25 percent agreed that "Israel is an apartheid State", and 34 percent thought that "Israel's treatment of the Palestinians is similar to racism in the US".
