Tulsi Gabbard, whom Donald Trump plans to nominate as his director of national intelligence, was a faithful consumer of Kremlin-controlled propaganda network RT, three of her former aides told ABC News.

Gabbard should not be privy to any national intelligence, much less running the entire **it show. So chances are she will be confirmed. Thanks for giving it ALL to Russia, MAGAts. You did that.

This lady will be burned by someone in the US intelligence community. Phony intel will cross her desk, and she will blab to the wrong set of ears. Next stop: Leavenworth...

Why would THEY want you consuming propaganda from our enemy?

And why do YOU get so defensive about it?

#12 | Posted by SpeakSoftly at 2024-12-06 04:42 PM

@#9 ... Read it all you want. ...

At one time I visited the RT website a lot. But that was a while ago, before Pres Putin turned it into what looks like little more than propaganda outlet for his dictatorship.

I remember at the time, an exodus of journalists from RT because they didn't want to be a Putin puppet in what they reported.

She seems to have swallowed and parroted Russian propaganda, as noted in the cited headline article.

But more to the point, does your current alias think she should be in charge of all the intelligence agencies of the United States?

If so, why? What does your current alias think her qualifications are?

#21 | Posted by LampLighter at 2024-12-06 08:55 PM

Anonymous aides. ALWAYS anonymous sources with these hit pieces.

I e yet to see her say or do anything to promote the left's most convenient bogeyman.

This is basically libel.

#22 | Posted by BellRinger at 2024-12-06 09:41 PM

@#22 ... Anonymous aides. ALWAYS anonymous sources with these hit pieces. ...

Many people confirming a similar assertion to differing news organizations.

And, given the apparent MAGA tendency to use threats and violence against those who dare to counter them, why is your current alias surprised at the desire of those whose chose to remain anonymous?

But back to the article, how many "anonymous sources" have come forward with similar stories, and to various news organizations?

@#22 ... Anonymous aides. ALWAYS anonymous sources with these hit pieces. ...

And, looking at this from a different view ...

Your current alias seems to think that fmr Rep Gabbard had chosen aides who were not loyal to the Constitution.

If that is the case, then why should Americans want her to be responsible for our Intelligence Service?

Which as a hypocritical maga maroon you should be very familiar with.

Trumpy has been whining about it for years. All the while saying false and defamatory statements about his perceived enemies for years.

"We are going to take a strong look at our country's libel laws so that when somebody says something that is false and defamatory about someone, that person will have meaningful recourse in our courts," Trump said.

Fortunately, there are two strong obstacles standing in his way. Chief among them is the First Amendment, which clearly protects freedom of the press. But the other main barrier is the inconvenient fact that there is no federal libel law for President Trump to bully Congress to change. Libel cases are based on state laws, which neither the president nor Congress has control over because of our nation's federalist system.

#29 | Posted by a_monson at 2024-12-07 12:17 PM

"Many people confirming a similar assertion to differing news organizations."

C'mon, you can do better than that? "Many people" "similar assertation" "how MANY people"

To paraphrase my fathers old line, If "many people" who were "anonymous sources" "similarly asserted" that you should jump off a bridge, would you?

I don't know all the details concerning Tulsi Gabbard, but she is a Lt. Colonel in the U.S. Army, not a "ditzy traitor". If she is both, what does that say about the need to reform Biden intelligence apparatus?

She is also not a war hawk, and has been very vocal about limiting American military interventionism worldwide. That makes her a big threat to the Military Industrial Complex . Their zillions of dollars can buy a lot of media attention and "many people" to make "similar assertations", maybe make some of them brave enough to give their names.

#32 | Posted by Miranda7 at 2024-12-08 07:22 AM

As to her lack of qualifications, while Tulsi was taking fire on the battlefield, the woman who is the current Director of National intelligence was was reciting erotica in the brothel/bar she owned in Baltimore. Her Intelligence career was marked byseveral scandals. She overruled the CIA Inspector General who recommended crimial charges against CIA agents who illegally hacked into government workers computers and fabricated evidence against those staffers. Then she redacted the CIA Torture Investigation report from 30000 pages down to 500.

Tulsi Gabbard is a huge improvement over Avril Haines, and considering the options Trump has, she is a pretty good option.

At some point folks need to accept that Trump is going to be president and pick their battles more wisely.

#33 | Posted by Miranda7 at 2024-12-08 07:36 AM

some problem of to back that up ...
How do you explain her flip-flop on Crimea/Russian aggression?
She was a House Rep with big ambitions and made a basic observation. Then her ambitions got scuttled and she completely 180'd.
She obviously changed her mind.
Why did she change her mind?
Why did she become pro-Putin in a short amount of time?
Putin didn't change, if anything he became more aggressive. He invaded more territory.
What would constituent proof in your mind? Do we have to catch her red handed at a dead drop?

This is basically libel.
Wait. According your your comrade subscribing to RT is perfectly fine.
So on the one hand regurgitating RT talking points is just diligent information gathering from a legitimate news source. But on the other hand accusing someone of subscribing to RT is damaging to their reputation...

Thus you cannot comprehend how someone can take a moral stance.

You are a liar and a troll. the only thing you ever demonstrate a belief in is hating on trans kids and defending every ------ action taken by your cult leader.

What you fail to comprehend, because you are incapable is I despise immoral people like you and am not afraid to call you on your immorality moreso since the Amerian electorate showed they are morally bankrupt.

I literally pride myself on not supporting a rapist, I don't think that as a difficult thing to do. You and many on here have no problem defending a rapist.

50+ years of constant emasculation. In more desperate need of a BJ Ryan any white Nan in history. Has some disposable income but is Tom cheap to employ a hooker. So a massive incel who has been bullied by nerds his entire life. Top that with being hyper emotional about everything, especially politics and the result is a bitter and nasty person who is liked by very few people.

Ah, so... at least we know now when Trump's Pets might start paying attention.

During Trump's first term trillions of dollars were added to the Debt, about twice as much as Biden added, Covid faked Trump out for 2 years, and children were lost and traumatized at the Border.

And those were on some of his better days, when he wasn't busy trying to illegally and violently overthrow the elected government.

If you had 12 legs, TrumperBelle, you still wouldn't have one to stand on.

I was raised to believe that the one most important thing about being a man was his word. That keeping his word was the most important thing. That man who lies is not a man.

As an example of the infinite number of lies that jeff told/tells, he used to say that the ------- documents case was the only legitimate case against him. After ------- won, he said none of the cases against him were legitimate.

Just another day, just another lie.

That is who jeff is. Certainly not a man.

@#55 ... I said all the cases were dead, which is true. ...

Is it true?

At this point, is the J6 case dead, or paused?

Special counsel Jack Smith drops election subversion and classified documents cases against Donald Trump (November 25, 2024)
www.yahoo.com

... "The (Justice) Department's position is that the Constitution requires that this case be dismissed before the defendant is inaugurated," Smith wrote of the election subversion case in a six-page filing with US District Court Judge Tanya Chutkan in Washington, DC. "This outcome is not based on the merits or strength of the case against the defendant."

Chutkan formally dismissed the case without prejudice Monday afternoon. ...

"Without prejudice" ... that is the important aspect of the dismissal.

It allows the case to be revived at a future point.

On the other hand, from what I've heard, if a Judge dismisses a case "with prejudice" that usually means that the Judge thinks the prosecutor has little to nothing to stand on. Stately differently, the Judge is saying, ~get out of my Court.~

Once again, I will say, I am not a lawyer, so, YMMV.
