When the ambulance arrived in the Kensington neighborhood of Philadelphia two years ago, an angry EMT got out and barked at the crowd, "Who called this in?" Standing next to my cameraman and above the prone body of a shirtless soul bedecked in boils and not moving, I said, "I did." He didn't say a word, he looked at me, then down the street at the dozens of strung out bodies, then back at me as if to say, "Look at all this, what do you want me to do?" I had no answer.

Locking up the homeless isn't a good idea. Giving them a chance to rehabilitate themselves is. Including but not limited provide them with a tiny house to call their own would help greatly.

Or maybe stick them in adjoining smaller houses inside a big building. With bars on the window until they rehabilitate themselves. Because junkies DGAF about anything other than getting high. We have Oxford houses here. They are large homes that house drug addicts right next to residential communities. It does work if you try it.

The comments on this thread by some liberals just shows how clueless they are.

The first thing that came to my mind too when I read about this was Trump is essentially reviving the old system of dealing with the mentally ill. Hopefully we'll learn from the mistakes of the past.

On the plus side, people will finally get a chance to get off drugs and perhaps get the right medication to help them even if it is against their will.

If they are mentally ill they won't have to live on the streets.

In the long run, perhaps cities may find themselves being able to attract businesses and customers.

This is a win/win proposition.

Who is losing? The parasites who get paid millions of taxpayer dollars feeding off the the misery of mentally ill drug addicted people virtue signaling pretending they are being helped.
