Nikki Haley, who dropped out of the race two months ago, is still receiving a notable number of votes against the former president, winning 20 percent of the vote in Maryland, or more than 47,500 votes, and 17.8 percent in Nebraska, which amounts to nearly 37,000 ballots.

If Trump's march to the WH is inevitable, things like this couldn't happen.

Ouch.

Losing that many votes to "none of the above" has got to sting.

Oh no's not Maryland! Whatever will the Republicans do ...

Lose 20% of your voting base apparently.

Why do 20-25% of Republicants vote for someone who dropped out months ago, Wafflehead?

Write off Maryland, for a start.

Things like this have the potential of flipping states like Indiana and North Carolina. Which is the point of reporting it.

The urge to make that soiled rag Trump into something he's not is so strong in you.

These are primary voters too. Registered Republicans who will definitely vote in the general and definitely won't be voting for Hair Fuhrer.

For lack of a better term, I call Haley voters "Reagan Republicans," who believe in democracy, morality, and the rule of law.

Trump's also lost significant support among women since 2020. He didn't win them on 2020 and now he's down several more percentage points among them following the E Jean Carroll verdicts (2) and the internationally seen accounts of his betrayal of not only his spouses but nearly anyone else he doesn't need anymore.

There's nothing Trump can do but dig his hole deeper between now and November with his big, fat mouth.

Also, the Dobbs decision and the aftermath of a slew of red state laws putting women's literal freedom in jeopardy.

Too much wishful thinking on this thread.

The real election is in November.

Once the convictions start piling up bunker bitch will be lucky to stay within 10 million votes of Biden.

So much vote against him that he won the primary by 60 points

Is Trump himself happy with that, or does it make him pull out his teeth while flinging sh--?

Don't you think that the best president in your lifetime should do better?

#15 | Posted by Zed at 2024-05-15 05:55 PM | Reply

LOL

60 points, in his own Party, against someone who dropped out of the race months ago...and you think that's a strong showing. That's some little pp energy, that is.

So the REAL RESULTS are the exact opposite of what the inaccurate and manipulated polls are saying.

Having lived a substantial portion of my life in
Nebraska (30 or so years) before moving to the East
Coast, I can say, that is a HUGE nod towards being
unsatisfied with the GOP's current candidate.

Nebraska is VERY red, and Nikki Haley is VERY gone
and out as the candidate. That almost 20% of the GOP are refusing
STILL to vote for Der Donald is a big deal indeed.

No wonder Trump is trying so hard to get her to become
his running mate. And she can! Or so Trump says,
for the small price of 'paying his legal bills'...

ROFL

only in 'Duhmerica!

"he won the primary by 60 points"

Compared to Biden's 90% that's kinda pathetic.

I got to this post and had to stop.

When you...of all people...write with clear, concise and rational thought...

well, it's obvious I was thrust into an alternate universe. :)

only problem is now you're boring....fix that will you ?

Psssttt nobody is contesting Trump now. Yet they're still voting for Haley.

That's ummmmmm kinda the point.

Dean Phillips begs to differ he was on both the Nebraska and Maryland ballots, as does Marianne Williamson who was just on the Maryland ballot.

A couple of seconds worth of research would have told you that.
