Elon Musk's conversational interview with former President Trump on Monday evening pulled in a combined 1 billion views, according to the tech billionaire, who has now offered to host Vice President Kamala Harris for a similar X chat. Combined views of the conversation with @realDonaldTrump and subsequent discussion by other accounts now ~1 billion," Musk posted on his social media platform X early Tuesday morning following the interview. The message followed a previous post outlining that, "Between 7:47 PM and 10:47 PM ET, President Donald Trump's Space post received 73 million views. During the same period, there were 4 million posts about Elon Musk and President Trump's conversation on X, generating a total of 998 million views."

A 400k zoom call that people were harping on two weeks ago vs 1-2MM (of those who could even get in) and 1 billion in listens. I'd say that's pretty hard to top. But Musk did invite VP Harris to do one. My guess is she won't because her handlers are keeping her from answering any questions.

He's sending Trump 45MM a month so I don't think it really matters how much the event raised (that wasn't the point either). The point was to allow people to hear Trump in his own words having a conversation with the guy who is single handedly making the world a better place and moving it forward.

Just like Reichwing podcast audiences, you can make bots do anything, including listening over and over to a demented old fool who forgot to put his choppers in before the interview. Another interesting note, the number isn't like TV ratings where you know how long they listened, so again it's likely bots popping in and out juicing the numbers, or more likely Elmo lying again.

There were 73 million people (accounts...many bots I'm sure) who at least listened to part of it, not necessarily all of it.

The remainder of the fuzzy math is the number of viewers of the 4 million X posts about it.

So, by real measure, there was, at most, 73 million accounts who tuned in.

Less than 1/3 the US population.
