Israel won't last long term. They have shown the world who they are too many times.

Apartheid South Africa lasted a long time...until it unravelled.

Nazi Germany seemed strong....until it wasn't anymore.

Israel will join them in oblivion.

Surrounded by mortal enemies? Whose doing was that?

Israel created all of those enemies all by itself. The 800 lb. Gorilla is the US.

Support for Israel among the young is at it's Nadir. If the US turns on them, they're Gone. It's not as impossible as it seems.

Apartheid South Africa was backed by the US for decades until it wasn't.

Times change, Public Opinions and foreign policies evolve.

Israel is setting itself up to become another failed state.

The Arabs have Time on their side.

Israel? Not so much.

I doubt I will live to see it but I have no doubt that their endeavor will Fail.

Israel may survive as Israel. But the "Jewish State" won't. In my opinion they will evolve into a multi ethnic society of equal rights for all, or be Destroyed in War brought on by their own excesses.

Israel is the Least sustainable society I can think of. Sustained by US aid and European guilt, built as a crucible of religious intolerance and ethnic Supremacy, they will destroy themselves.

Or be Destroyed by others Sick of the spectacle of violence and Arrogance.

Much like Nazi Germany was. Germany still exists as Germany,the Nazis are extinct.

The Jewish State as such will Die as well.

And as Rightfully so.

The Big difference is that the US is in the "hearts and minds" phase of becoming truly inclusive, much like South Africa is.

Israel is worse than the "Jim Crow" South or even Apartheid South Africa.

They are like Nazi Germany at this point.

If it takes Nukes to stop them... So Be It.

Israel is Tiny. They have NO STRATEGIC DEPTH. Iran can take much more punishment than Israel ever could. Israel is the size of New Jersey. Iran is the size of four Texas's. 1,000,000 Sq. Miles, vs.8,000

Correction: 636,000 Sq miles. Kilometers it's 1.5 million.

Wars are not won by land area, but ability to persist is closely tied to it.

Israel is an artificial thing. Imposed and created by outsiders.

A Colony as it were. In a sea of otherness.

They will adapt and survive or be Destroyed.

Just my opinion, but an honest one.

Resources, population, industrial capacity. Russia is holding off the entire West.

Land area is why the US is a superpower at least in part.

Isolation from other great powers also helped.

Is Holland a superpower? It's twice the land area of Israel. Germany punched above it's weight, but Russia kicked it's ass, and would have without the West.

It just would have taken longer.

Can you name one superpower that's not continental in size?

Australia is also huge. Countries can be continental in size and not superpowers, Brazil also comes to mind.

To my knowledge there isn't one. China is effectively continental in size because Asia is so huge.

The British Empire was an archipelago of Colonies.

They did quality as superpower in The Day.

Today Britain is a Regional power of intermediate influence like say, Iran.

Also a Vassal of the US.

Impressive on the local scale but No superpower.

Without NATO, Turkey is more formidable than Britain.
