#1. You live in Canuckistan. Southern states can't function if they get a 3 inch snowfall.

In fairness, it's pretty much all due to the deep red counties that have trouble thinking for themselves...

It's a real live SNOmg event. Where I am, maybe sleet. Going to get my hair done at 10, hit the gym and come home to bake gingerbread loaves and key lime tarts for neighbors. Life is good.

Looks like the lowest high is 42 and that's only for one day. Then it's back to the 50's.
Ice on power-lines, roadways (bridges), space heaters, people doing stupid things are going to be the real problem.
Snow plows aren't going to do shht - even if they manage to get them deployed before the snow melts.

Low 40's? That's Tuesday here in the PNW!

...refers to the Gulf of Mexico as the Gulf of America...

No, it's not a cult.
Next, the Dotard will call water dry and they will lap it up.

This is true, calling it Gulf of America is like calling the South China Sea, the Sea of Thailand.

Stupid, everyone knows who runs the place, and it certainly isn't America.

You idiot. That's not how or why the Gulf of Mexico was named The Gulf of Mexico.

#17 | POSTED BY LEGALLYYOURDEAD AT 2025-01-21 10:33 PM | FLAG: Guess you are incapable of comprehending that such a southern state that practically never get a snowstorm would not have snowplows, salt/sanding trucks etc.

We currently have the same problem here in Louisiana where about 100 miles of I-10 is in shutdown. No plows or sanders. Been here since 2008 and first time it has snowed here, and drivers have no experience. My wife and in grew up in the NorthEast as well as resided in Iowa from for six years so know how to drive in ice and show, unfortunately the state residents have no knowledge how to handle driving in it.

Maybe Florida will break off and fall into the Gulf of America or the Trumpic Ocean.

#25 | Posted by moder8 at 2025-01-22 03:00 PM | Reply

#24 - Florida got snow from Pensacola to Tallahassee. That was it. It did break records where it did snow, but we're talking an area that's 1/12th of Florida. Maybe. And tomorrow the high temps are going to be 41, then 46, 52, then 57. The snow isn't going to be around for long. Power was lost for less than 34,000 people and that's been or is being restored. Not sure anyone is without power now. I can't find any reports of power being out, that is.
