... Chief Justice John Roberts issued a rare statement Tuesday rebuking President Donald Trump and his allies for calling to impeach judges who have ruled against the administration.

"For more than two centuries, it has been established that impeachment is not an appropriate response to disagreement concerning a judicial decision. The normal appellate review process exists for that purpose," Roberts said in a statement.

Trump allies have called for various judges to be impeached for blocking administration policies in the first months of his second term.

But Trump himself raised the stakes on Tuesday, when he called for the impeachment of U.S. District Judge James Boasberg after he blocked the deportation of Venezuelan migrants.

"This judge, like many of the Crooked Judges' I am forced to appear before, should be IMPEACHED!!!" Trump posted. ...

Courts aren't the law. They're supposed to uphold the law, not block upholding the law which is all they've been doing. We don't elect judges to set policy, we elect representatives and the president to do that, judges have NO SAY in policy at all because the people have no way to get rid of them via elections. If judges are somehow the end all be all of everything then there really is no need for Congress or the presidency to even exist because all policy would just come from the courts and whatever they decide.

#9: Hi Corky: Thanks for the Axios link. There may be another layer to this drama. There is a suspected Yale fraternity connection (Skull and Bones and/or Greek three-letter) between Brett Kavanaugh and former D/FBI Christopher Wray. This may be why the FBI gave Kavanaugh a light investigation during his SCOTUS confirmation. Judge Boasberg may also be a fraternity member if they were close. So this judge thinks he has the authority to have this plane full of rapists and murderers (future Dem voters) turned around and brought back to the US. That would give him the same right to have the space capsule returned back to the space station until he received all the documentation from the astronauts.

If you were to put the convicted criminal and gangster Trump (who is now also a Genocide abettor) on the same plane with those evil gang members, I suppose I'd support this deportation policy under limited circumstances, that is, as long as there is one American politician onboard per flight- and they don't necessarily have to be Republicans- Democrats too- just as long as when they put them on the plane they balance the weight to both sides to avoid undue risk to the Venezuelans, who have likely done far less to earn their punishment.

Liberals and Elite Democrats understand this. Its not about Democracy, but authoritarian tyranny through Judicial review.

Which is why Democrats are dominated by lawyers, people that don't contribute shit to the economy but are more friction, than grease.
