FBI supervisory agent Tracee Mergen in Minneapolis resigned after FBI leadership in DC pressured her to discontinue an investigation into ICE agent Jonathan Ross, who shot & killed Renee Good. An investigation following an agent-involved shooting death is commonplace. www.nytimes.com/2026/01/23/u ...

FBI SA Tracee Mergen was Supervisor of the Public Corruption Squad in the Minneapolis field office which also handles civil rights cases. Mergen left the FBI "in part due to the pressure on her to reclassify/discontinue the (Renee Good) investigation." An FBI source said Mergen "would not bow to pressure" from leadership. Her squad was also involved in the ongoing probes into public benefits fraud in Minnesota.

Jonathan Rosshole is a lowlife homicidal thug, callous destroyer of lives and careers. In the Middle East he would be described aptly as a "harami.' Karma never loses an address and we must all enfaust Jonathan Rosshole with a wretched miserable life for wreaking so much pain, anguish, and devastation upon innocent people.

The next non-Republican president should immediately dismantle DHS and ICE as his/her first official act on 20 Jan 2029.

ICE has at least shot another person.

Is he dead?

Trump's Gestapo could shoot a woman in the head in Minneapolis and not be investigated for anything, much less prosecuted.

They just proved it.

ICE is begging to be murdered. And Trump is begging them to be murdered so that he can do martial law.

What they want is to be able to kill us in the streets in large numbers.

This is paradoxically no reason to retreat. There is strength in numbers.

Anyone else feel like you are watching the movie "V"?

Only it's not the People who are wearing masks.

But yes they are disappearing folk just like in the movie.

Unlike in the movie the People have not exerted their power.

Yet.

What's to investigate? Back the blue people look at the evidence and it supports their narrative. Communist dirtbags look at the same evidence and it supports their narrative.

Oh dear! Your ignorance is showing again!

Why investigate?

Investigating officer-involved shootings (OIS) is critical to maintain public trust, ensure accountability, and enhance officer and public safety through policy improvements. These investigations, which are often high-profile, provide transparency, allow for the identification of training deficiencies, and help prevent future incidents.

If you do not wish to maintain trust with the community, ensure accountability and enhance officer and public safety then definitely do NOT investigate this OIS.

If I remember correctly, the commercial break immediately following that scene was something about the other white meat, or something like that.

This rogue FBI agent wanted to have her own self managed "civil rights" investigation. It's not needed and she is being premature. The Good shooting is being investigated by the authorities authorized to do this type of investigation. It will take about six months. It's chaotic and counter productive to have many entities doing their own investigations especially when the extraneous ones have agendas.

But I'll put in a good word for you.

Hi A Friend:

I never saw "V for Vengeance," so I missed the reference.

As promised from the other day, here is an Ed Sullivan vignette.

Ed Sullivan, who could make or break any performer in the US, despised racism and fought with CBS executives frequently over their apartheid policies.

From testimony and memoirs, here is one significant posthumous revelation from the immortal Master of Ceremonies.

Ed Sullivan regretted putting Lawrence Welk on his show.

Over several decades, Lawrence Welk never employed a Person of Color for his orchestra. No black musicians ever made it past an audition, despite their talents or skills. Watch any of his shows on YouTube. Probably no Persons of Color in the audience either.

When this white supremacist bandleader went on the Ed Sullivan Show and saw black musicians in the CBS studio, Welk remarked: "They don't look traditional," a codeword used by racists and Ed Sullivan quietly bristled.

Afterwards Ed Sullivan secretly regretted giving the vile Lawrence Welk more national prominence on his highly-watched TV show which validated Welk's blatant racism to the American people.

I posted this on Lee the Agent's thread, so forgive the redundancy:

"All those "trained" gorillas couldn't restrain one man.

The FLETC "two-man jam" applied correctly would have worked on this poor guy. There is also a technique where one properly trained agent could do it.

One of the ICE goons is seen punching the deceased in the face. That's a FLETC "No-no" and a street brawl or UFC technique.

Watch the cowards scatter like cockroaches after hearing a gunshot.

Completely unprofessional mob of dangerous runamoks."

#18 As Donnerboy pointed out, I really meant "V for Vendetta" (not Vengeance).

I should have known since I've only seen it dozens of times since its release in 2005 (including a recent cross-Atlantic flight, watching on my tablet).

My bad! ;-)

Ed Sullivan was definitely an unsung hero, but one of many, many people in entertainment who definitely practiced what they preached.

The vignette you provided is gratefully appreciated.

Thanks.

Leave the gun, take the cannoli **

** which was actually an unscripted improvisation by Richard S. Castellano (playing Clemenza). Coppola, of course, left it in the final version. Thankfully!
