So long as they give Lewzer an award they don't need ticket sales.

When Trump is dead we can start to rebuild the Kennedy Center.

Lara Trump will soon be named Artist in Residence. She will perform nightly for the next umpteen weeks. She will also have to sweep up, collect tickets, serve refreshments at intermission, check coats, handle the lights, be the stage crew and shovel the walkways during snowstorms. But she won't have to back down. Get your tickets now, from $15,000-1.25MM per seat...

The Arts without Woke? Anyone see 87 year old Jane Fonda SAG Awards Last night? She was absolutely riveting and I loved her close talking about the actual meaning of WOKE! She spoke about how the right has coopted the word. She talked about that it meant diversity, equality
and inclusion in a nation whrtr that was not the norm and the people who protested injustice and for equality and that was right and that America is far better today than it was in earlier decades because peoplr did protest and object to inequality!
Today I feel priveleged that a friend actually asked me for the remote and put it on the channel that carried the SAG Awards show. I enjoyed Jane's acceprance speech so much!
I thought bacl to the days of Hanoi Jane but today we have Putin's bitch as our President! (My words not hers!)

The idea that the Arts shouldn't be woke is so stupid that it is hilarious! Could be a good SNl sketch!

@#4 ... I wonder when the Village People will be headlining? ...

Good question.

Democrat politicians continue to try to politicize everything, and the public is sick of it. We want a degree of balance. There has rarely been any effort to remove politics from the arts.

Politics have been an integral part of the arts since human beings first began to express themselves. Demanding that we "remove politics from the arts" is farcical.

Former Republican presidents managed to treat the Kennedy Center honors as they should be.

And when a president's idea of culture is "Ave Maria," "My Way," the Village People, Mein Kampf, and gold-plated toilets, maybe it is best just to close it down for a while.
