"Crawford, a liberal circuit court judge in Dane County, will beat the conservative candidate Brad Schimel, a Waukesha County judge who received Trump's backing in the final stretch of the campaign.
The race was officially nonpartisan, but Crawford's victory will be seen as a bright spot for Democrats in Wisconsin and nationwide as voters handed the president's preferred candidate a defeat in the first major political test of the second Trump era.
Crawford and her Democratic allies also worked to turn the election into a referendum on Trump ally Elon Musk, who poured millions of his personal fortune into the race. It quickly became the most expensive judicial contest in US history."

"Liberal candidate Susan Crawford has won the Wisconsin Supreme Court election, NBC News projected Tuesday, preserving a liberal majority on the swing state's highest court.
Crawford, a circuit court judge in Dane County, defeated Brad Schimel, a Waukesha County circuit court judge and former Republican state attorney general."

Why does no one like the richest man in the world giving cash to voters?
Why don't they appreciate his Shock and Aweful attack on Social Security and Medicaid?
Why does Wisc hate Donald Trump for HIS economic downturn? And for forcing US companies to pay for tariffs against other countries by raising prices?
It just doesn't make sense, right? I mean, Trump is America's Savior, eh?

"No," Schimel said. "You've got to accept the results."

Mike Johnson scraps his whole week after brutal defeat www.axios.com
... Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) canceled half a week's worth of House votes after failing to contain a revolt over proxy voting within his own party. Why it matters: It was Johnson's biggest legislative blow of 2025 thus far -- and the first where President Trump wasn't providing him reinforcement. What happened: The House voted against blocking Rep. Anna Paulina Luna (R-Fla.) from forcing a vote on allowing House members who are new parents to vote by proxy. ...

The groundwork for the cover story has already been prepared.
Someone (quoting Musk) said earlier that he might be retiring from politics, perhaps sometime in May, because his businesses (Tesla) are failing without his leadership, charisma and charm.
Take it for what it's worth.
Truth is, Trump is losing a lot of court cases because Musk overplayed both their hands. Also, Trump may have discovered that tariffs are an easier way to claim that he's made up enough money with tariffs to justify extending the $4.5 Billion tax break he promised to his wealthy supporters.

Here ya go:
In the First Congressional District in Florida's panhandle, the state's former chief financial officer, Jimmy Patronis, defeated Democrat Gay Valimont. In the Sixth District, along Florida's east coast, former state senator Randy Fine beat Democrat Josh Weil. Republicans have a substantial registration edge in both districts. But the results were far closer than those seen in November, suggesting voters may be unhappy with Republicans, President Trump and his agenda. In the First district in the area around Pensacola, Republican Congressman Matt Gaetz defeated Valimont by 32 points in November. President Trump nominated Gaetz to be his Attorney General. Gaetz later withdrew and left Congress, leaving his seat open. Patronis jumped into the race but was heavily outraised by Valimont, who drew support from Democrats across the country. Patronis' margin of victory was about 15 percentage points, 17 points lower than that seen by Gaetz in November. In the Sixth district in central Florida, Fine beat Weil by about 14 points. That's a significantly narrower margin than that seen by then-Congressman Mike Waltz in November. Waltz defeated his Democratic opponent by 33 points. He left the seat vacant when he was named Trump's national security adviser. Weil raised ten times more money for his campaign than Fine and Democrats hoped they could pull out a victory in a red district. www.npr.org

I still consider MAGAs to be Americans and I suspect they want less crazy economic policies and less influence from Putin to be President Trump's number one advisor considering that Putin's advice is designed to destroy our economy a nd our relationships with allies all over the world. Questions about why President Trump has been so willing to carry out Putin's wishes should be investigated and pursued in impeachment cement hearings. Can anyone honestly argue that Trump hasn t been pressing policies that he knows are designed to create severe economic turmoil throughout the entire free world and his announcements this afternoon will prove my point.

On another subject, national security advisor, Mike Waltz, has been using freaking Gmail to send classified info!
Relatedly, Waltz, Hegseth, et al SHOULD have been using one of the government secure methods like JWICS, the Joint Worldwide Intelligence Communications System, not Signal.
BTW, Waltz was one of the most loudest voices calling for criminal charges for Hillary Clinton over using a private email account.

They always say they're big on law and order (and deficits), then they ignore the law and pass deficit-creating tax cuts.
They're like magicians who distract attention on one hand with social issues while they rob America blind with the other.

WASHINGTON (The Borowitz Report)"After being handed a bruising defeat in the state's Supreme Court election on Tuesday, Elon Musk angrily demanded that Wisconsin pay him back "in full" for the money he poured into the contest. "I want $20 million wired into my account by end of business Wednesday," the furious South African declared. "And I want it all in cash, none of that worthless crypto ----." "Until I am refunded, every voter I bribed is my employee," he continued. "As such, I forbid you to work remotely and demand that you report to Tesla headquarters at once." In a final demand, Musk said he expected to be reimbursed $16.95 for the cost of his cheesehead.

How much did Soros give to the Democratic Party of Wisconsin? $2 million. That pales in comparison to fElon's corrupt giving - $20 mil. Hell, fElon gave two checks out for a million each buying votes!
And you lost. By 10 points. In Wisconsin!
