Didn't Pres Putin once in the past agree not to take over Ukraine if Ukraine gave up nuclear weapons?

At least Chamberlain sold the flesh of others for temporary peace because the UK was too weak to take on Hitler at the time.

There is no doubt that the US and its allies could defeat Russia. Only thing lacking is US political will, because Trump loves being Putin's Bitch.

I don't believe it was Putin. 1994 was the nuke deal under Yeltsin, and in 1999 Putin was "appointed his first term".

Apparently protecting a democratic nation's sovereignty from fascist dictatorship is "no reason" according to the self-declared "Bernie Bro" who is definitely not a paid Russian troll.

OneIronNut is a fascist POS who sees a democratic country fighting for its freedom against a bigoted invader as senseless. And then he has the gall to accuse others of being bigots. What a turd

Ukraine was wearing that short skirt, and Vlad is too manly a man not to rape her and kill her children and family.

So, obviously Ukraine's Fault(tm).

The orc army is completely depleted of NCO's, Middle officer class and even high ranking generals and that means that their army is not doing well and in fact are moving forward and backwards in Ukraine and in Russia itself; A house a day and a farm field another day is not going to win any war against Ukraine any time soon. People constantly say, "Ukraine cannot win this war". Well, all Ukraine has to do is keep on defeating the Orc hoards as they come in and now the body count of dead and wounded orcs is up to well over 1 million. At this rate, Russia will defeat Ukraine around 2035 with over 10,000,000 casualties, If they keep coming forward which they are not really doing. If that's winning I would not want to see what losing looks like. And, I do not see Russian moving forward at all at this point from the blogs I cover from people in the Baltics, Ukraine and Russia all whom have past military expertise to analyze the actual front lines down to a battle in a barn or when dozens of orc tanks and other heavy war machines cross a field and get blown to bits by dozens of drones, rocket and missile projectiles and hand held weapons. That fat orange woman raping daughter lusting grifting extortionist traitor does not know what the hell is is talking about as he spews Kremlin facts for our people to swallow like some giant bitter pill. Do not listen to him he is a traitor that is on the hook to Vlad the Mass Murderer Putler for some------------- shows in Moscow going all the way back to the nineties.

So, effectively, Ukraine has to give up significant territory to an invader, and gets nothing in return.

Except for Pres Trump seeming to assure that Pres Putin can start another invasion to get the rest of Ukraine.

Pres Trump is not negotiating a deal to end the war, he is negotiating a Ukraine surrender to postpone the continuation of the war.

Ukraine is Losing the War.

That's what's happening. This just ends the shooting. Stops the needless death.

For Now?

Isn't everything, just for now.

Diplomacy 3 years ago.= 1,000,000 people still alive.

Ukraine still intact.

The West Isn't used to Losing Wars. Not in Europe.

democratic country fighting for its freedom
#13 | Posted by hamburger

The breakaway regions voted to leave. You know, VOTED, as in democracy?
Now if zelensky wants to force them back in, they may have to fight for their freedom. At the end of the day, would it be fair to the populations of these regions to come again under the iron hand of ukraine nationalists, who would deny them their language, their church, their political voice, and their heritage?
After all, they VOTED democratically, and the result was clear.

They wanna be Russian so much, they can move to Russia.

@#24 ... The breakaway regions voted to leave. ...

A rigged "election," with the military going door to door asking how a household votes.

Ukraine war: Russia claims win in occupied Ukraine 'sham' referendums (2022)
www.bbc.com

... Moscow-installed officials in the regions are now claiming almost total support among those who took part in the disputed votes on joining Russia.

The polls were denounced as a sham by Ukraine's government and its allies.

In the absence of international recognition, the process was not monitored independently.

The votes were held in the breakaway eastern regions of Donetsk and Luhansk.

Ballots in Russian-occupied parts of the southern regions of Kherson and Zaporizhzhia were also organised.

Refugees scattered across Russia were also able to vote at dozens of polling stations, including in Crimea, a southern Ukrainian peninsula annexed by Russia in 2014. Partial results from voting there indicated huge majorities in favour of joining Russia.

Up to four million people were asked to vote in the war-torn regions, which make up about 15% of Ukraine's territory.

- - - Soldiers go door-to-door for votes in 'referendums'

- - - Final day of discredited polls in Russian-held Ukraine

News agencies run by the pro-Kremlin administrations in Donetsk and Luhansk are reporting that up to 99.23% of people voted in favour of joining Russia - a high percentage that would be unusual in a vote of this nature. ...
