TSA: You Can Leave Your Shoes on at Security Starting Sunday
An unexpected memo went out to TSA officers across the country last week stating the new policy will allow all passengers to keep their shoes on in all screening lanes at many airports across the country, starting Sunday.

TSA Pre-Check. I haven't taken off my shoes in more than a decade.

TSA: Thousands Standing Around. Each missed the cut to be greeters at Wal-Mart.
A few months ago, while flying out of OKC I observed a guy bypass the two TSA agents who were checking ID by walking between the two active stations, and he proceeded to the conveyor belt. When I alerted the TSA people on duty, one nearest to me thought it was a joke and started chuckling. I persisted, so they pulled the guy aside. Turns out he was an airline employee (or so he said) and produced a badge. He was traveling out of uniform, so was like the rest of us traveling stiffs and had to be screened. The event made me further lower my expectations of TSA agents...

"---- genocide by Jews."
Yeah. It should be the Jews being genocided.
And not the histrionic 'genocide' being promoted by the pro-Pals, but real, good old-fashioned 'wipe them from the face of the earth kind' of genocide. 'From the river to the sea' kind of genocide.
The good genocide.

And Global Entry gets you nothing when going through security. It only allows you to expedite going through passport control when entering the US. For a lucky few, we can also use it at automated EU passport control stations, but that's not very common.

Cool. Now when are airlines going to end the "fuel surcharge" they "had to create" when gas was expensive?

Yes. I'm sure that's etched into their collective memory.

Just shut down the TSA.
It's been almost 25 years since this idiotic security theatre started. The ONLY thing that was actually needed was locking the cockpit door.
EVERYTHING else is beyond stupid.

Well there was this guy (who, shockingly to the pro-Hamasers) was not Jewish. And probably never should have made it past the ticket counter on looks alone. And that's why we take off our shoes.
A locked cockpit door would have been of little help if all went according to his plan.

Wow, you got one right! It is in their collective memory. And that memory is driving current events.
The Babylonian captivity or Babylonian exile was the period in Jewish history during which a large number of Judeans from the ancient Kingdom of Judah were forcibly relocated to Babylonia by the Neo-Babylonian Empire. en.wikipedia.org

The no-shoes ban was a prime US example of closing the barn door after the horse got out.

"The no-shoes ban was a prime US example of closing the barn door after the horse got out."
And the lock on the cockpit doors, a requirement added by the US, gave rise to the situation where the suicidal GermanWings pilot augured in with an Airbus full of tourists. He wouldn't have been able to do that if the other pilot wasn't locked out of the cockpit, and unable restrain him.
