On the town with the A-Gays of Washington, who have never been happier to be out, proud and Republican.

These are the A-Gays of Washington, D.C. They're (mostly) out, they're proud (to work for President Trump) and they have big jobs inside (or alongside) this administration, wielding influence all over town.

... Scott Bessent, the secretary of the Treasury, was wandering around up there too.

Sitting in a brown leather armchair in the center of this social whirl was a high-ranking official at the Department of Energy named Charles Moran. His abstruse-sounding title is associate administrator for external affairs for the National Nuclear Security Administration. What this means is that he works in the part of the Energy Department that develops, tests and keeps safe America's nuclear weapons stockpile.

But that's not why administration officials kept approaching his armchair to schmooze, or why some of the cabinet secretaries at the Ned that night seemed to be so chummy with him.

Mr. Moran, 44, is the pasha of a new power tribe in the capital: the gay men of the Trump administration.

These are the A-Gays. They're (mostly) out, they're proud (to work for President Trump) and they have big jobs inside (or alongside) this administration. They wield influence all over town, from the Pentagon to the State Department to the White House to the Kennedy Center.

"We're like Visa," Mr. Moran said. "Everywhere you want to be."

He sipped a dirty vodka martini and surveyed the room. Two Republican men waved at him from across the club. "Both gay," he explained. This was also true of the middle-aged Trump appointee who ambled over a moment later to catch up. But apparently not so of the young-looking White House aide who approached a few minutes after that. "Straight as an arrow," Mr. Moran said as the aide walked away. ...

Snoofy, just yesterday said it would never be fashionable. Why is it fashionable now that Trump is president?

Just the other day Snoofy was complaining someone said Adam Schiff was gay.

It's because they are in D.C., away from their constituents

It's because these guys DON'T HAVE SPACES for gay people to openly be gay where they live.

This is like Mr. Smith Goes To Washington, just for gay people living in a repressive culture.

Unlike their ---- stain district, D.C. is a gay friendly city.

As is every city worth a damn.

Yeah.

And that seems to be a reason why it is OK to be gay, but only if you are a Republican.

Gang Of Four - I Love A Man In Uniform (1982)
www.youtube.com

Lyrics excerpt ...
genius.com

...
Time with my girl, I spent it well
I had to be strong for my woman
(You must be joking, oh man, you must be joking!)
She needed to be protected

[Pre-Chorus]
The good life was so elusive
Handouts, they got me down
I had to regain my self-respect
So I got into camouflage

The girls, they love to see you shoot

[Chorus]
I love a man in a uniform!
I love a man in a uniform!
I love a man in a uniform!
I love a man in a uniform!

[Verse 2]
To have ambitions was my ambition
But I had nothing to show for my dreams
Time with my girl, I spent it well
(You must be joking, oh man, you must be joking!)

[Pre-Chorus]
The good life was so elusive
Handouts, they got me down
I had to regain my confidence
So I got into camouflage

The girls, they love to see you shoot
...

Out, gay and Republican. How cute. The MAGA horde is coming for them, and by identifying themselves they make it easier to dox them, show up at their houses with firearms and fire bombs, and get to their bosses, so as to have them fired. The end of the story for these folks will not be good...

PS: it would be a laff riot to have Miss Lindsey show up at one of their events, but that will never happen--he is still afraid to look himself in the mirror...

Hey, GOP:

Everybody knows a bunch of you are gay. It's not a big deal. There's a portion of all demographics that are gay, and it's been that way since humans started liking to ----.

So drop the charade, and quit overcompensating by hating on gay people (and friends) and worsening their lives.

It's pathetic, and dangerous.

Homosexuality and gender dysphoria are low-hanging fruit that the right really doesn't give a crap about... but it riles up the ignorant... on both sides.

Really hilarious to watch liberals squirm when their hypocrisy is thrown so hard in their face that they can't ignore it like other topics. The amount of excuses liberals have so far in this thread alone is striking. Someone even made the sarcastic statement that it's only OK to be gay if you are Republican. But you liberals are actually saying it's not with your sarcasm and excuses. YOU are the ones who are demonizing being gay because of party affiliation, not accepting that there are gay people on the other side of the aisle. This isn't a one time trend either, there are articles that have been linked on this very site about how terrible it is that there are women Reps, as if it's only OK to be a woman if you are a Dem.

If liberals didn't have double standards, they wouldn't have any standards.

Additionally, this comment board is proving that liberals don't even know what the Rep's argument is about. The Rep argument is that the government should not be in the business of treating ANY group of people favorably over another strictly because of race, gender, sexual affiliation, etc. But any time they pass a law to prevent as such, Dems fight against it and are in favor of discrimination based on race, gender, etc. I'm not saying which is right or wrong, I'm just stating the reality of the situation. And yes, Reps do go overboard in some of their responses as if every...single...issue can be broken down into some kind of woke topic.

Get a clue, Bozo: You most definitely do not speak for America. You and similar insecure jackasses helped elect a raving horse's patoot as president. You've done more than enough to screw this country.

And too lazy to even pick himself up. Have you seen some of their towns in NC? Some people say they are the trashiest towns in America.

They need to send in the Marines and clean that place up.

Cities like Raleigh, Fayetteville, and Charlotte have been named among the "dirtiest" in North Carolina by reports like LawnStarter, which use metrics like pollution and cleanliness to rank them. Additionally, Lumberton and Goldsboro are often highlighted for high rates of property and violent crimes, while cities such as Durham face challenges with affordability and safety.

Lumberton: Holds the distinction of having the highest rates of both violent and property crimes in North Carolina.

Goldsboro: Has a high total crime rate, with a significant portion of that being property crime.

Monroe: Has also been cited for having a high violent crime rate.
