New York City Mayor Eric Adams announced on Sunday that he is dropping his third-party bid for re-election, narrowing the field for November's election. "Despite all we've achieved, I cannot continue my re-election campaign," Adams said in a video posted to X. ... Adams' announcement comes after weeks of speculation that he could exit the race to help consolidate support for former New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo, who is also running a third-party bid for mayor, against Democratic nominee Zohran Mamdani, a state legislator.

Not really a surprise.

He wasn't even an "also-ran" in the race.

The only result of his continuing, in my current view, would be to assure that Mr Mamdani wins.

Now, at least, it looks like the race may be closer. Or not, depending upon where his supporters go ...

If Cuomo had any integrity, he'd drop out of the mayoral election, again.

Andrew "Benedict Arnold" Cuomo has no integrity whatsoever. He is a self-serving opportunist who used his father's name and connections to propel himself within the Democratic Party establishment. The disgraced ex-governor of NYS was then kicked out of office for sexual harassment and fabricating casualty numbers during the COVID epidemic, forcing him to return his Emmy Award. The former HUD Secretary under Bill Clinton now sides with NYC oligarchs and landlords against poor Zohran Mamdani.

The Kennedy clan had serious reservations about Andrew Cuomo when he married Kerry, daughter of RFK Jr and Ethel:

The cynical Andrew Cuomo and Kerry Kennedy tied the knot in 1990 and joined the clan: "Andrew refused to do anything fun, anything without a clear benefit to his career," a family acquaintance of the Kennedys noted. The Kennedy clan enjoyed a good time, and they saw it as a serious red flag when Cuomo took charge of wedding planning and banned toasts at both the wedding reception and the rehearsal dinner. Cuomo also disliked attending the famous Kennedy gatherings in Hyannis Port. Cuomo was wound too tight to let loose and join in the fun, and he eventually stopped going to the compound altogether. However, he always seemed to be around when media attention was present. "Andrew would always find the exact perfect place to stand so he could be in the newspaper the next day," a Kennedy relative told the outlet.

Has he even tried selling gold sneakers?

Cuomo is widely disliked and for good reason. Having said that, he's the logical choice over the Commie.

Shouldn't it be who the voters want?? It seems the voters don't want Cuomo.

" he's the logical choice over the Commie."

Has Mamdani called for the end of private property and I missed it?!?

Or (and go with me here), are you once again using a word even though you clearly don't know the definition?

#11 | Posted by Danforth at 2025-09-29 08:03 PM | Reply | Newsworthy 2

using a word

The word is, "trolling".

-- the Commie.

All high-income countries other than the United States have universal health coverage, where all citizens have access to a defined set of health services.

So, they must all be Commies.

How on Earth does another person's stupidity excuse yours?!?

COMMUNISM has a central tenet of NO PRIVATE PROPERTY. NO ONE in American politics has suggested as much.

EDUCATE YOURSELF, ffs.

Well, what are you waiting for? Krystallnacht 2.0?!?

You've seen what's going on; you used to decry the tactics you now enable.

There's an historical word for that: collaborators.

Haven't seen you address the dictator's unhinged, fascistic, Nazi speech yesterday.

Any thoughts on waging war against American citizens on American soil?

Or are you going to let that bit of reality slip by you as you've so often done before?

If you don't think that Trump is fascist, advance your own description.

So that nobody will believe you.

That's Danforth's way of acknowledging he has actual expectations of you, Taylor.

He'll ignore the rants of Zed and many others here. He doesn't expect them to get a damn thing right even when they accidently do.

Yeah, I see it. Trump's actions are clearly there for us to see.

So are yours.....and you can't tell the difference.

A broken clock is right twice a day.

You've been calling everyone with an R after their name both a fascist and a nazi for the past 40 years with no discrimination. All of them.

Just because the time might actually be coming up what's showing on the broken clock....doesn't mean you know how to tell time.

You are a very very very very very very very unhinged angry person.

and that's not Trump's fault. Nor mine.

IT's all.....on you.

LOL

I'm not going to call him a fascist. He's acting like one and he deserves the label of one. Maybe he is one. I can't say he's not one.

He's apparently fine with the label. Moderates don't buy it and the more they hear it, the more they can't stand the left.

Which is why you're helping Trump by calling him one over and over.
