... Summary

Trump requests DOJ probe into Epstein's ties with Democrats

No credible evidence links Clinton, Summers, Hoffman to Epstein's trafficking

Trump denies knowledge of Epstein's abuse and trafficking

Republican support for Trump on Epstein issue is low

The request comes two days after a congressional committee released thousands of documents that raised new questions about Trump's relationship with the late convicted sex offender, and marks the latest in a series of demands by Trump for federal law enforcement to pursue his perceived political enemies.

The Epstein scandal has been a political thorn in Trump's side for months, partly because he amplified conspiracy theories about Epstein to his own supporters.

Many Trump voters believe the government has covered up Epstein's ties to powerful figures and obscured details surrounding his death by suicide in a Manhattan jail in 2019.

Along with Clinton, who socialized with Epstein in the early 2000s, Trump said he had asked the Justice Department to investigate former Treasury Secretary Larry Summers, and Reid Hoffman, the LinkedIn founder who is also a prominent Democratic donor. All three men were mentioned in the 20,000 Epstein-related documents released by the House Oversight Committee on Wednesday.

"Epstein was a Democrat, and he is the Democrat's problem, not the Republican's problem!" Trump wrote on social media. "They all know about him, don't waste your time with Trump. I have a Country to run!" ...

Perhaps Pres Trump should direct the DoJ to probe his own ties to Mr Epstein.

Oh wait, he doesn't have to because he already knows what those ties are and their extent.

"Epstein was a Democrat, and he is the Democrat's problem"

You were a Democrat when you first befriended him, Donald. A Republican only after it proved useful to your larger con.

Apparently, Donald thinks that he can shut the entire Epstein thing down by making it an active DOJ case again.
finally
I think that this is just another way to prove his guilt; and something that will additionally vex a couple ten million MAGA who are starting to see who he really is.

What would the DOJ uncover that hasn't already been discovered the constant investigation that's been going on regarding Epstein for the past decade at least?

Democrats, republicans, foreign dignitaries, etc........who's left to discover?

Release the files and let us find out.

The investigation was closed just a few months ago by the Bondi led DoJ. Sounds like Trump is saying he feels the investigation is not complete and is calling Bondi's competence into question.
I agree that she is incompetent. He should fire her and replace her with someone who is actually qualified for the job.

Trump seeks probe of Epstein ties with Clinton, other Dems

@#8 ... Release the files and let us find out. ...

Pres Trump will probably say that the files can't be released now because they are part of an ongoing investigation.

One of my Trumptilian friends told me the Epstein files would never be released because of Clinton... as if... seriously... AS IF... Republicl0wns haven't been so far up both the Clinton's butts for one thing or another... the investigations themselves could be considered a sexual assault.

I can't believe how feeble-minded repubicl0wns are...

This is not an investigation based on... or in anyway dependent on the Clinton Epstein relationship.

There is no if "Clinton did it too soooooo... Trumpanzee gets a pass".

Go for it pig brains... search away... investigate to your heart's content... I want you to. Meanwhile... this still moves forward... concurrently if you insist on ------- away more tax dollars...

Your orange is getting crushed... buhuhuhuwahahahahahahahahaha

Dems should have left it alone, there is nothing there

The Epstein files were RIGHT THERE during the Biden administration. Four years! Why didn't Democrats open them THEN? What am I missing?"

What have people like you got about correcting a mistake?

There is no argument against releasing the Epstein Files.

Those who resist doing so look...suspicious.

The revelation that Epstein was surprised by the police's lack of interest in Trump, and that Epstein claimed that Trump spent "hours at my house" with one of Epstein's victims seems shocking. And yet, there's a lot that the email doesn't say. Most notably: What happened when Trump was allegedly alone at Epstein's house for hours with a young woman whom Epstein had lured into sex work? Did Trump and the woman play Mario Kart? Do some light gardening? Maybe there was a cutesy rom-com-type situation where they tried to bake a cake, but it came out wrong, and when Trump " donning a chef's hat and apron " took the cake out of the oven, the sex trafficking victim laughed, and all Trump could do was shrug like "What are you gonna do?!" We truly can't know.

There are many innocent reasons why a late-middle-aged man might hang out alone at a sex criminal's fuck palace with a presumably attractive young woman. Young women " especially teenagers " are famously engrossing conversationalists. All of us have found ourselves in a conversation with a teenager and thought "Wow, I wish this could happen all the time!" Young people are wise and thoughtful, and cerebrally inclined adults often seek out their perspective. Ask anyone to name the most attractive part of a post-pubescent young person, and the answer will immediately come back: "Their mind."

Blanche and Bondi understated how many times Trump was mentioned!
More mentions of Trump than Epstein himself.
Or any other person! By far.

Maxwell case logs show how frequently Trump flew on Epstein jets; Bill Clinton, too (2021)
www.miamiherald.com

... Donald Trump appears to have flown on Jeffrey Epstein's private jets six more times than was previously known, according to flight logs released as evidence in Ghislaine Maxwell's trial. Previous disclosures of portions of Epstein's flight log have shown world leaders, billionaires and celebrities among the many passengers who have flown on Epstein's private jets.

The new log released as evidence in Maxwell's case stretches back earlier than previous releases. Decades before he became president, Trump flew four times in 1993, once in 1994 and once in 1995, in addition to a flight in 1997 that had been documented in portions of the flight log previously released. The flights were all between Palm Beach and New York City airports, with the June 1994 flight stopping at Ronald Reagan Washington Washington National Airport between Palm Beach and New York.

A woman named Marla, apparently Trump's then-wife Marla Maples, is listed as joining him on the June 1994 flight, along with a Tiffany, apparently their then-infant daughter, and a nanny. Trump's son Eric is listed as joining him on an August 1995 flight between Palm Beach and New York.

That's still fewer than former President Bill Clinton, who flew on Epstein's jets on at least nine different dates according to the flight records released as evidence, and reportedly far more times than that. The extent of Clinton's travel on Epstein flights was already reported, however.

Neither of the two former presidents have been accused of sexual misconduct involving Epstein, who died in prison a month after his arrest on sex-trafficking charges in 2019.

Trump and Clinton aren't the only notable names included in the 118-page log, which includes flights between April 1991 and January 2006. The log also includes two previously undisclosed flights in February 1994 on which a passenger identified as Bobby Kennedy Jr., is listed, a previously undisclosed April 1994 flight with former U.S. Sen. George Mitchell and several previously undisclosed flights involving famed violinist Itzhak Perlman.

Epstein and Trump were friends in the late 1980s and early 1990s, although the relationship reportedly soured after they both vied for the same pricey Palm Beach property and after Epstein hit on the teenage daughter of a member of Trump's Mar-a-Lago club in Palm Beach. ...

At Trump's Urging, DOJ Seeks Probe of Epstein Ties with Democrats

I don't think democrats care one way or another about other democrats being implicated. The only reason I think dems would be concerned is if it diverted sparse DOJ resources from investigating the EXISTING junta members and their influential friends.

It turns out Epstein was in the Trump files.
