Pres Trump does not seem to care about Americans.

Because that would help Joe Sixpack.

Only corporate desires matter.

The Cruelty is the Point.

If Trump Vetoes the legislation he is saying ---- You to a large part of his Own Coalition.

I think Trump is Senile.

With Tiny hands on the Nuclear Football, he has sole discretion to launch thermonuclear weapons.

Even Putin must consult at least two others before ordering the launch.

Sleep Tight.

... President Donald Trump said Sunday he may veto a bill to extend Obamacare subsidies if Congress sent one to his desk. ...

So, let's say that Pres Trump is reading the politics of this bill correctly.

Has he (or his advisors, who may have informed him) come to a correct view?

My guess would be, "no."

Agree cancelling as we taxpayers cannot continue to fund for ever, which pretty much the dems want to bail out their abject failure of an 'affordable' health plan..

Re 8

How's that republican "concept of a plan" coming along?

Still 2weeks away?

It's been 2 weeks away for 15 years now.

Or is it really that republicans actually believe that Americans don't deserve affordable healthcare?

Obviously tax breaks for Billionaires are more important than health insurance for the People... because that's where the money went.

Sorry, pal, but every honest broker agrees any attempt at Universal Health Care requires a mandate.

Once Republicans killed the mandate, it became TrumpCare: Lots less care, for lots more money!

Democratic Senate candidates will be thanking Trump if he does so.

Turnip continues to do the things that will ensure a blue wave come midterms.

Health care for profit has already proved it doesn't work. It's just a funnel for more and more money for less and less health care. We are already the most expensive health care in the world and yet we lag in the metrics that say we are getting what we are paying for. The real solution is to remove all the middlemen. Make it single payer and it will do that.

All this dancing around is merely to keep the insurance companies happy. Dump them and watch the cost of health care go down.
