What is the first word in that acronym? Temporary. Somalia is in better shape than when these folks were given temporary status to be here.

I saw a congressman grill a Somali advocate on the House floor but can't find it now.

He cited all sorts of eye popping statistics. A Google AI search produced the same numbers:

We need immigrants to be positive contributors to our country. Somali's don't have a good track record. People who want to permanently reside here need to learn English, assimilate and not be a drag on our social safety net.

The communities do not want to assimilate, in other words they don't want to become Americans. They practice Islam which degrades woman and do not tolerate LBGT behavior. And on top of it they have stolen billions from us that was meant to feed and care for children. And for those that say non Somalians were behind the theft then jail them as well but many in the community were complicite. And no coincidence that while this was going on Omar went from a personal wealth of 30k to 30 million.

Almost 58% of the Somalis in Minnesota were born in the U.S. Of the foreign-born Somalis in Minnesota, an overwhelming majority "- 87% " are naturalized U.S. citizens. Of the foreign-born population, almost half entered the U.S. in 2010 or later, according to the Census Bureau.
