Women are more likley to despise sexual predators, so it's fine that they don't vote.

Trump/MAGA only becomes more disgusting when they're desperate. And I find my capacity to be disgusted by them infinite.

A person, people, and movement with no redeeming value. Profoundly selfish and destructive. The opposite of patriots and, increasingly, the opposite of human beings.

Good, Women are too stupid to vote.

House rethuglicans are garbage.

Thankfully, this will not pass the senate.

How many other things require your name to match Social Security records?

First on the list: SSA benefits

Second: tax papers. I remember the first time my wife and I filed joint. Last name didn't match and the refund check was held up.

Third: credit check. Wouldn't you know! It affects searching names with credit bureaus. Who would have thought?

Fourth: US passport. Good thing it was fixed before the cruise.

It doesn't disenfranchise anyone. You change your name, it affects a lot of things. Even if marriage wasn't the purpose to change it. You still have to change other records in life.

Yet another fake fix for a nonexistent problem... that's been created to gin up the ignorant Base.

The only real election rigging that almost worked was done by DJT.

How many of those other things are rights guaranteed under the Constitution? Denial of which could permanently prevent people from being able to change the very rules blocking them from voting?

That's great and all...

BUT THAT WOULDN'T ALLOW YOU TO VOTE.

If the name on your birth certificate doesn't match your government issued photo ID such as a Driver's License, you will need a Passport, Certificate of Naturalization or Citizenship, or Consular Report of Birth Abroad.

Your Social Security Card can be updated but can't be used under the SAVE America Act. It is not considered Proof of Citizenship.

If you get married and legally change your name, it doesn't change your birth certificate. Your Social Security Card can be updated but can't be used under the SAVE America Act. You will need to spend $150 and wait 1-2 months for a US Passport.

Welcome to my TED Talk where I ask important questions like, "WHAT THE ---- ARE YOU TALKING ABOUT?"

Now you want to chime in on why we can't simply use a state issued drivers license or ID?

#17 | Posted by lfthndthrds

Because you can't. You CANNOT register to vote or change your registration (like a new address) without proof of citizenship under the SAVE America Act. I'm not implying. It's a fact.

The SAVE America Act doesn't allow you to register to vote with just a Driver's License UNLESS it's a Enhanced Driver's Licenses. Only 5 states offer them.

Only an Enhanced Driver's Licenses proves citizenship.

Any other dumb things you wish to share?

So why doesn't the Federal Government just issue a free nationwide voter ID?

Republicans have the votes to pass a nationwide voter ID today.

They won't do it.

Do you even know why?

These sorts of things could backfire quickly for Trumpers; the more difficult paperwork required to vote will tend to filter out high school grads before they do college grads.

And we all know which of those groups mostly votes Democratic.

That said, it's a horrible, unnecessary attempt to intimidate women into not voting.

He has to check his democratic burn book. I'm sure there is something in there about you and truck stops.

Loved it when Florida Representative Jared Moskowitz tore into the Bondi's Department of Justice for repeatedly lying about Donald Trump's ties to Jeffrey Epstein and her blatant lies to the American public.

At the end of his speaking time, Moskowitz actually challenged Bondi to take her best shot at him from her burn book. She tried to ad lib it but just made herself look stupid silly dumb.

New amendment needed.

The right of citizens of the United States to vote shall not be denied or abridged by the United States or by any State on account of verifying who they are.

Well except for the ~21 million Americans who do not have access to the needed documents.

And right before a critical election.

But you obviously don't care about that or them.

Our research indicates that more than 9 percent of American citizens of voting age, or 21.3 million people, don't have proof of citizenship readily available. There are myriad reasons for this " the documents might be in the home of another family member or in a safety deposit box. And at least 3.8 million don't have these documents at all, often because they were lost, destroyed, or stolen.
