Gulf Arab states are telling the US that any deal with Tehran should do more than end the war, and must permanently curb Iran's missile and drone capabilities and ensure global energy supplies are never again "weaponized," four Gulf sources said.

Other than the terrorist-sympathizers (of which there are many on this site), very few people are saying that Iran deserves anything but.

The question is whether our pedo-in-chief has set the stage to make that possible. And there's the little matter of cost, both militarily and financially. You know, the stuff that made MAGAts give themselves a concussion nodding their heads in agreement as Trump sabotaged Ukraine as they dropped to their knees for Putin a little over a year ago. Except this time it's real, as Trump demands $200 billion more and expends weapons we actually need for our defense, as opposed to the far lower annual aid we were giving Ukraine, much of which was military hardware that was getting to end-of-life.

At least the public's perception that Trump's War is an effup of staggering proportion is spreading faster than a similar view took hold when it came to Vietnam.

Perhaps (one hopes) it's getting more difficult to fool more of the people more of the time. Could it have been the commander-in-chief appearing in the middle of the night to croak out his war cry while wearing a cap he happens to be selling that whispered: "Plan? I don't need no steenkin plan."

Everything Trump touches gets ensheetified. It's just the way of things. And this war - he likes to call it a "maneuver" (one he and his kids are - sooprise! - missing out on) - is no different.

The world has placed Iran at or near the top of their list of threats to humanity for at least the past 30 years.
