Are robots replacing soldiers in Ukraine's war? Not quite -- but they are changing the battlefield. Ukrainian forces are expanding the use of ground robots to deliver supplies and evacuate the wounded, reducing risks on the front line. www.kyivpost.com/post/74407

"Soldiers have detailed their impact. Oleksandr Yabchanka, the head of robotic systems for Ukraine's Da Vinci Wolves Battalion, previously told Business Insider that one average-sized war robot can carry more than roughly 10 servicemen can.

President Volodymyr Zelenskyy shared last week that Ukraine's ground robot force had carried out more than 22,000 missions on the front lines over the previous three months, saying that means "lives were saved more than 22,000 times when a robot went into the most dangerous areas instead of a warrior."

The president's comments also revealed a big jump in the robots' overall usage. Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander in chief of Ukraine's armed forces, said in December that over the previous six months, Ukraine's ground robots had carried out only 2,000 missions.

Then, in half the time, that figure grew to 10 times that."

Thanks for posting, Corky.

NATO, the Gulf Countries, ROK, Japan, and Taiwan will be turning to Ukraine-- a mini-superpower-- for advice, guidance, and technical support for future conflicts.

I hope Volodomir Zelensky limits Israeli access to Ukraine's high-tech assets.

Just imagine how much more efficient the IDF will be using these robots for its hideous ethnic cleansing of Muslims in Gaza and the West Bank. I can't even imagine it.

Of course Dummkopf Trumpf and his idiotic evangelical and white racist political base put America on the wrong side of this equation and history.

The completely autonomous AI suicide drone swarm they unleashed on a Russian tank column is really intimidating. When the war started it was 1 man, 1 fpv drone. Now 1 guy opens a box and 40 drones fly out on their own. Even models coming that are basically a self-contained LAN of fiber cabling with bomb quadroters on the end of every cable. Can't jam those, can't easily spot the source.

It goes both ways. Just imagine the devastation Hamas and Hezbollah could inflict on Israelis if they latched on to this technology.

Maybe. But it doesn't go both ways equally.
There's about twenty dead Palestinians for every dead Israeli, since 1948.

It could be worse, because Hamas doesn't care about Palestinians, and Israel cares about its citizens.

Its not complicated.

"There's about twenty dead Palestinians for every dead Israeli, since 1948."

"The object of war is not to die for your country but to make the other bastard die for his."

George S. Patton.

Of course there is no such thing as Palestine. The Arabs rejected the creation of Palestine in when? 1948, right?
