Some of the sharpest declines are concentrated in states where Trump initially performed strongest:

I think we should take the linked map with a grain of salt. Poor Presidential approval doesn't always translate to significant replacement of Congressional incumbents. Especially in light of all the MAGA efforts to redistrict states and suppress elections.
