That's exactly right. Congressmen and Senators enjoy a platinum healthcare plan and their attending physician is a USN admiral. Mitch McConnell's obituary won't read very well.

9. Precisely. They've had his obit written for years. I had a friend who worked for the New York Times for a while doing exactly that. Gotta be ready for when these people die.

What a job: writing and keeping updated obituaries for living people. Good gig.

Decades ago in NYC's West Side near the NYT building (south of Seinfeld's fictional apartment) was a medium-sized store that sold copies of old NYT newspapers, Playboy magazines, Sports Illustrateds, Saturday Evening Posts, etc.

For the collector in the non-internet era, this shop was a paradise.

Missing from my collection, which I found there, was this issue which I still own today: i.ebayimg.com
