Rep. Tom Kean, R-N.J., made his return to the Capitol on Tuesday, saying he was treated for depression during a nearly four-month disappearance from the public eye.

Know how to open up until later when he felt stronger.

That's what Elections are for.

If Enough Constituents think he took too long to speak out he will be gone.

If he neglected his duties that's a valid reason.

An experienced politician with his pedigree should know when to give it up. He should get out of the way. Missing 140 votes is no way to represent his constituents. I suspect he will be easy pickings for his opponent, if there is an election this November...

Nearly his entire paternal line (for the past 250 years?) have been greasy-nosed politicians. My guess is that collective guilt has caught up with the family name.
