After Barr left, acting leadership took over. Acting Deputy Attorney General Richard Donoghue testified that during a December 2020 call, Trump explicitly told them, "Just say that the election was corrupt + leave the rest to me and the Republican congressmen."

Never mind that this is all a fever-swamp hallucination of Donny's with no basis in reality. there was no foreign interference in 2020 election. there was no ------- of any kind in 2020. remember, Donny lost all the sixty-plus lawsuits he brought following that election " but Donny doesn't give a crap about any of that. he's going to present his new' bogus proof, and he's going to use it as a pretense to ---- with the upcoming midterm elections. it's going to be a --------. Nah. While 9/11 response and GWoT certainly produced serious erosion of civil liberties and constitutional controls, it took unAmerican s*&^bags like MAGA to vote for someone like Trump to make it happen.

Don't degrade their "accomplishment" by acting as if they're a natural consequence or step in our political evolution.

They are a natural step in REPUBLICAN Evolution. Bush/Cheney stole 2000 with SCOTUS Connivance. Trump tried again in 2020 but didn't succeed.

The Democrats hate primaries and usually ignore them but that only hurts their own Electoral Prospects.

Overall the country IS becoming less Free.

Compare the last 25 years with the 1970's

A Big increase in Militarism and an Equal increase in Authoritarian Usurping of Congress's Perogatives by the Executive, by Presidents of Both Parties.

Clinton tried to get a line item Veto.

Bush Started a major war without Congress but at least talked to them first.

Trump is Usurping ALL Powers into his own Person and Congress isn't really resisting very much.

It is a Progressive Disease and both Parties are Complicit.
