He also seems to grok that Dems are nowhere near perfect either, but better than the only other choice in the reality of a two-party system.

I can't tell you the number of young people who've been showing up saying it's the first political event they've ever attended. That is how we change the politics of this state."

No doubt David Hogg agrees with James Talarico.

David Hogg blistered the Democrats for picking terrible candidates. Link: Status quo dinosaur Dems gotta go

No wonder the Democratic Party warchest is low.

And this week US Senator Chuck Schumer (D-Israel) begged on his knees for human hippo John Fetidman (D-Israel) to not leave the Democratic Party.

Huh?

The best way for the Democratic Party to prevent perennial Republican and Likud party rule is to get rid of the warmongering AIPAC-ers from their ranks who put Israel's needs ahead of the US. See results of US election on Tuesday 5 Nov 2024 for more info.

These fiendish AIPAC-ers are the same malparisos who don't want to abolish ICE and DHS, but "fix," "tweak," or "reform" Amerikkka's Gestapo.

Huh?

Democrats must think like FDR or NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani (D), not "Bibi" Netanyahu.

"Hey Democrats, wake up and hear this!"

"Where's our universal healthcare as enjoyed by the residents of Israel, Germany, Canada, the UK, Greenland, Taiwan, Cuba, tiny Albania, and in 2027, all of Mexico?

Where are the discussions or plans to immediately abolish ICE and DHS on 20 Jan 2029?

Why keep funding Islamophobic Forever Wars in the Middle East instead of using our taxpayer dollars right here at home?"

"For 50 years, billionaire mega donors have been buying politicians like Ken Paxton. And then those politicians turn around and rig the rules of the economy in favor of those billionaires at our expense.

They have been stealing stealing from the American people with with bribes, with bailouts, with billionaire tax breaks.

They they have been selling us a lie that the best way to motivate the people at the top is to give them more of our money.

Trickle down economics is not a theory. It is theft.

They have been stealing the wealth that we all created."

This is actually a great speech all around, one of the best I remember since Jesse Jackson in Austin in the '80's.

"We have an affordability crisis because we have a corruption crisis.

We don't have a government of, by, and for the people. Things would be different if we did.

We have a government of, by, and for the billionaires."

"We are getting screwed.

Whether you're a a little more conservative or a little more progressive, we're all getting screwed.

None of us can afford groceries. None of us can afford gas. None of us can afford healthcare.

The billionaire mega donors and corporate special interests that are buying the system, that are buying politicians like Ken Paxton, they don't care who you are.

They don't care about your politics. They only care about their profits. They don't see us as Democrats and Republicans. They don't see red or blue. They see green.

They see us as a group of people they can rip off.

They see us as one opposing team. So, we might as well start acting like one. It's time.

It's time for us to come together across all these manufactured divisions
so that we can take on the people at the very top who have been screwing us over for far too long.

That's what we can do in this election. Those are the stakes."

You dont need that level of hyperbole. You are not starving. You are on Medicaire.

We have an affordability crisis because we have a corruption crisis.

The affordability crisis exists because of Boomers and BidensBorderBonanza.

Americans can't build anywhere near cities, even if there are empty lots. The cost of regulations to build makes it unaffordable.

Try adding an ADU.

My only guess is Talrico can't read. There are plenty of books and newletters on this topic be leading progressive economists, like Noah.

Talrico sounds like a sniveling idiot, if this type of person is what Democrat Elits think is smart, we are in big trouble.

You dont need that level of hyperbole.

They need it for the weak minded.

No facts? You wouldn't know a fact if it was dating your Mom.

You are THE least fact-based poster on the site, and that's quite the accomplishment considering all the Trumpites like yourself.

Talarico is an empty suit. He's also bought and paid for just like Dan Crenshaw was. I posted the links so you clowns could follow the money, but you simply made excuses for him.

- I enumerated facts,

You did no such thing; you repeated several tired old rwing non-sequiturs (look it up, dumbass).

You come from one of the most Corrupt Countries in the World where... "a state-directed crony capitalism operating under a communist political facade.

The ruling Chinese Communist Party (CCP) maintains absolute political control while the economy operates on free-market principles, allowing a politically connected elite to amass immense private wealth while utilizing communist rhetoric."

www.project-syndicate.org

In this country, the same sort of crony capitalism operates under a democratic republic political facade, which you are way too blind to see.

This country isn't quite as deadly Authoritarian as the one you say you are planning to run home too, but it's on it's way there now with Trump.

But hey, you come from a long line of cowards who accept and promote such corruption, so no wonder you prefer Paxton and Trump to democratic reformers like Talarico.
