Doesn't matter. He is planning on stealing the election.

"The three states where the majority of respondents still approve of President Doofus are Israel (+14), Russia, (+9), and China (+6)."

I figure Trump's approval rating will go down even more by the Democrats now that the Supreme Court approved his mail-in ballot USPS rules.

I wonder how some liberal states are going to fudge the voter list they give to the USPS.

" I wonder how some liberal states are going to fudge the voter list they give to the USPS"

Hey dumfuq, how about proving your prior BS claim before moving on to a NEW BS claim?

Show us at least one example of a housemate stealing a mail in ballot.

Dan,

I don't believe anything will change for this Nov election.

Also, things won't work how I thought they would so the headlines aren't worth getting excited about.

Dan,

I'm just interested in what voting changes will happen now.

I could care less about discussing fraud.

You couldn't care less because you

A. Get your ass handed to you every time you try

And

B. Support the person actually perpetrating election interference and fraud

In other words, you're an idiot and even your brain knows it.

"I could care less about discussing fraud."

Of course; It's an embarrassing issue for you. Here it is, almost six years later, and to date, NO ONE has come forward confirming your theory.

It's why I've referred to it as a COCKAMAMIE theory. Especially since, nearly six years later, you don't even have ONE instance. If your theory was correct, there would be hundreds, if not THOUSANDS, of instances, of victims coming forward, ESPECIALLY after a close election.

In the real world, we could evaluate each and every instance, to see if it affected the outcome.

With ZERO cases...well...the result becomes obvious, doesn't it?

"Also, things won't work how I thought they would"

So thousands of people WON'T be coming forward to confirm your idiocy?

So...are you willing to say, without reservation, your theory was WRONG?

Are you actually about to TELL THE TRUTH???

"I don't believe anything will change for this Nov election."

If you mean Trump will claim fraud where there is none...

...I agree.

Dan,

And democrats will be screaming voter suppression when this does go into effect.

"And democrats will be screaming voter suppression when this does go into effect."

Because it'll suppress more votes in Virginia than Virginia has ever had voter fraud: 10 voter convictions in 20 years. 8 of those 10 were felons, one was an "unabashed conservative" convinced the other side was doing it, one was a garden-variety deceased spouse with a mailand ZERO illegal immigrants.

The Supreme Court's decision did not weigh in on the legality of Trump's executive order, which has so far not directly affected eligible absentee voters' option to cast ballots by mail.

Instead, the ruling focused on the ability of the mostly Democratic-led states to challenge Trump's order when they did.

As part of a separate but related lawsuit, the Postal Service remains blocked from following Trump's directives under a nationwide ruling released Aug. 11 by U.S. District Judge Indira Talwani in Boston.

" deceased spouse with a mailand ZERO illegal immigrants."

Should be ...

... deceased spouse with a mail-in ballot sitting around.

And ZERO illegal immigrants.

Dan,

Potential fraud isn't the only concern here. This system could address several possible problems at once.

The biggest improvement is tracking and accountability. Both the outgoing ballot envelope and the return envelope would have unique barcodes, giving election officials much better information about where each ballot is in the system and whether it was delivered or returned.

It would make the process operate more like traditional absentee voting in terms of identifying and tracking the ballots being mailed. States would decide who is eligible to vote and to receive a mailed ballot, and they would have to identify those voters and associate the ballot envelopes with them.

That also addresses the scenario I've talked about the most, which is a large number of ballots being lost or mishandled at one time. With individual tracking, officials would be much better able to determine which voters were affected and allow replacement ballots to be sent to the right people, possibly without the voter even being aware there had been a problem.

The intent is for this to become a nationwide USPS requirement for federal elections using mailed ballots, so that all states using the Postal Service would be operating under the same basic tracking requirements.

Like I've said repeatedly, about a month before the 2020 election I read how the expanded mail-in ballot system was going to work due to COVID and saw the makings of a calamity. There were too many potential bottlenecks and way too much human handling without adequate tracking and accountability to ensure valid ballots got where they were supposed to go to be counted.

The USPS rule is still not in force. Hopefully this solution will get a chance to be used.

Dan,

Instead of just moaning and groaning about fraud, why not comment what you think about what I just posted (assuming I got the processes correct...someone correct me if I didn't)

What do you not like about it?

Are you still going to claim, voter suppression?

#20 | Posted by BillJohnson at 2026-08-25 04:35 AM | Reply

As I understand it, one of the two injunctions has already been lifted by the US Supreme Court.

The USPS rule is still blocked by the remaining injunction, and we're waiting to see whether that one is lifted as well.
