He's way past the point of no return. Not just in Iran, but I mean mentally as well.

The only way the Iran War is going to stop is to put an end to Donald Trump, his family and the hoard of greedy sycophants who are raking in $$millions$$ at the expense of taxpayers, the national debt and the annihilation of Democracy.

IOW, it isn't all about ego. Trump has other, more important, ulterior motives to keep the Iran War alive.

It's pure unadulterated GREED!

President Eisenhower warned us.

President Eisenhower warned us.

And he had no idea of the scale.

Trump has no concept of honor or decency except to think both are for suckers.

If I'm wrong, somebody please point it out to me. Mostly I think he's just a self-serving slob.

It's taken a long time for Republican voters to figure out they've been rolled all these years by sociopath.

You are not wrong.

Fact is REDIAL, that money can't buy class.

Trump has never had any and never will.

"Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired signifies, in the final sense, a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed."

- Dwight D. Eisenhower, 1953

Is it a war, a conflict between two sides, or is it a murderous assault on a country by Israel and the US, the start of which involved the murder of most of Iran's leadership? Calling it a war gives Trump too much credit for sucking up to Netanyahu and those who wanted to pretend Iran had nuclear aspirations, all the while both the US and Israel have thousands of such weapons of mass destruction aimed straight at Iran.

Thanks for posting that, Clownshack. Also from Ike's epic 1953 "Chance for Peace" speech (www.presidency.ucsb.edu):

This world in arms is not spending money alone.

It is spending the sweat of its laborers, the genius of its scientists, the hopes of its children.

The cost of one modern heavy bomber is this: a modern brick school in more than 30 cities.

It is two electric power plants, each serving a town of 60,000 population.

It is two fine, fully equipped hospitals. It is some 50 miles of concrete highway.

We pay for a single fighter plane with a half million bushels of wheat.

We pay for a single destroyer with new homes that could have housed more than 8,000 people.

This, I repeat, is the best way of life to be found on the road. the world has been taking.

This is not a way of life at all, in any true sense. Under the cloud of threatening war, it is humanity hanging from a cross of iron.

Thank you for saying the words out loud that we will never hear from the Trump administration. Little or nothing has been admitted about Israel's participation in this proxy war nor Trump's gullibility to Israel's sales technique. Trump actually believed that he, single-o, was going to emerge as the conquering hero that rid the world of the world's most infamous exporter of terrorism.

He fell for it.

What a doofus!

Don't worry, Trump says the war will end after the midterms!

"The war will be over very shortly after the election. They're hanging out for dear life, hoping that we lose, so they can deal with dumb, weak Democrats and they can have their nuclear bomb. But we're not going to let that happen."

Wait, why is Trump waiting until *after* the election? Won't a decisive victory now raise Republican's chances of winning? Or is Trump saying that the decision is Iran's to make?

I'm starting to think that he doesn't know what he's doing.

It's safe to assume that no president who launched his political career as a puppet of Vladimir Putin knew what he was doing.

With Trump it's always been how he could screw over America to convert the presidency into a personal fortune for himself.

He was, and is still doing, a good job of that, at least until the MAGA morons suddenly realized that screwing over America meant them, too. It's been a rude awakening.

screw over America to convert the presidency into a personal fortune for himself.

To think it all started as a marketing gimmick for his (non-Emmy winning) TV show.

Which evolved into name recognition to build the false impression that he was a smart businessman. The voters were in the prosses of being thoroughly rolled in 2016 which sealed the fate of America.

When Trump won again in 2026 he had the false impression that he had the world by the tail and engaged in the hubris, aggression and lying that brought him to the precarious, slippery slope position he's in right now.

His MAGA base finally figured it out.

correction: When Trump won again in 2024 . . . .

(I need to get my eyes checked)

"His MAGA base finally figured it out."

Finally, reluctantly and sullenly realizing 2 + 2 =4 is something ... but not much of a thing.

They seem to be dropping like flies and not just congress critters.

At least enough to give Trump the night sweats about the midterms.

Of course, everybody already knows when all else fails, he's going to go nuclear.

Yeh, TWINPAC, the unscheduled rapid disassembly of Trump and his operation is absolutely palpable - it's in the air - as is the danger.

Unrelated: How are you doing with your eyes? (I don't mean to intrude.)
