Are we sure Tommy doesn't work for El-Sayed's campaign because Tommy did him a huge favor. With one question Tommy makes himself look like a fool who is incapable of any type of deeper thought while at the same time he gave El-Sayed a viral video in which he denounces terror, defends the rights of all Americans and looks great while doing so. I mean Trump is definitely going to be obsessing on how great he looks in those jeans.

Clearly what Tommy fears the most is someone else doing what he wants to do.

What Christian Nationalists plan to do.

-From the stage, El-Sayed met it with steely resolve. "Why are you asking the question?" he replied. "What are you implying?"

I think everyone knows what's being questioned/implied. His religion is fine, but the practices are questionable. Clownshack may have to expat if these radicals get elected, though. What context makes this "not racist?"
Was he "JJust Joking" or something?

Contextually, the late Mr. Kirk was talking about Affirmative Action.
Do you believe Affirmative Action results in non-qualified black men being hired to pilot commercial aircraft?
If you believe that, not only are you factually incorrect, you're either a racist, or believe things racists tell you. In your case, probably both, since I'm sure you learned everything you needed to know about which race is superior by the time you were 18, and since then, you've had plenty of examples to prove you are right.

So again, let's see your "context."

"There was testimony from Amazon pilots that claim Amazon was throwing softballs to DEI hire pilots"

Yeah. That's the racism all right.

Amazon does not hire pilots. Amazon Air is flown by contract service organizations, one of whom is Atlas Air.

search.brave.com

The controversy surrounding Atlas Air and DEI (Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion) primarily centers on online speculation linking First Officer Conrad Jules Aska to the fatal Atlas Air Flight 3591 crash in 2019. Online forums and social media users frequently labeled Aska a "DEI hire," implying his employment resulted from racial quotas rather than merit.

However, official investigations and factual records refute the notion that he was hired due to DEI initiatives. The NTSB determined that Aska was hired because he lied on his resume and omitted previous employment failures from airlines like Mesa Airlines, CommutAir, and Air Wisconsin. Atlas Air's hiring committee rated him as "highly recommended" based on incomplete records, and the airline explicitly stated it would not have hired him had its incomplete background check systems revealed his true performance history.

The "DEI hire" narrative persists in some online communities as a speculative explanation for his incompetence, but there is no evidence from the NTSB or FAA that race or diversity mandates played a role in his hiring. The crash was attributed to inadequate hiring practices, a failure to detect deception, and a lack of comprehensive pilot record databases, rather than diversity quotas.

... "I want young people coming out of school to say, Should I go work for the Trump administration? That sounds fun, I might get an opportunity,'" Slotkin mused at a University of Chicago event last week that has since gone viral.

So she seems to want the message sent that working within the Trump admin may expose yourself to problems down the road.

... If your time is short

Abdul El-Sayed has a doctor of medicine degree, commonly known as MD, from Columbia University in New York and a doctorate in public health from Oxford University in England.

He did not do a residency after medical school, which is typically the next step in becoming a practicing physician, instead focusing on a career in public health. He's never been licensed to practice medicine or treat patients.

Michigan law and federal law define a physician as someone licensed to practice. But major medical professional organizations don't have that requirement.

About 40 years ago, I was in a production of Rap Master Ronnie in Kansas City. The finishing artist who inked the daily Doonesbury strip, a great guy named Don Carlton, lived in KC.

Garry Trudeau used the connection to funnel re-writes. The Iran-Contra hearings were going on at the time, and we'd get updated lyrics almost daily; there were shows where we were literally singing that night about the hearings that afternoon.

Most impressive though, was the guy playing Reagan: a kid in his early 20s, who somehow got the age and the vocal inflections perfectly.

As I recall, the show ends with the entire audience playing DC bingo, and they ALL win at the same time.

Fun show.
