A Minnesota jury on Friday found five of seven defendants guilty of most of the crimes they faced related to a scheme in which they misused millions of dollars meant to feed children during the pandemic.


A convicted felon somehow continues to defy the odds that Democrats had hoped would destroy him by leading +1.5 in aggregate polling. This should worry Democrats on the eve of the first of two debates coming tomorrow. While Democrats had hoped the label of "convicted felon" would subdue the lead Trump has maintained for months, it continues to appear that no one cares.


Tesla has announced two more recalls of the Cybertruck, both of which affect over 11,000 vehicles produced since the car first became available late last year. Cybertruck owners will need to bring their cars in for service because of faulty windshield wiper motors and a cosmetic piece that could come off the vehicle while it's being driven.

Vermont has agreed to pay $175,000 to settle a lawsuit on behalf of a man who was charged with a crime for giving a state trooper the middle finger in 2018, the state chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union said Wednesday.


Former President Donald Trump's legal team is threatening litigation against the nonprofit investigative outlet ProPublica, for a story published at the start of this month alleging his business and campaign are paying "significant financial benefits" to witnesses in cases against him. ProPublica revealed the threat against them in a post on X Wednesday. Trump's attorney sent ProPublica a cease-and-desist letter demanding this article not be published. It warned that if the outlet and its reporters 'continue their reckless campaign of defamation, President Trump will evaluate all legal remedies,'" stated the post.

Pyongyang announced early this week that it will be sending troops in the form of a military engineering unit to support Russian forces on the ground in the Donetsk region. The troops are expected to arrive on the battlefield as soon as next month.
