As hate crimes legislation came into force in Scotland, the Harry Potter author issued a flurry of social media posts declaring that a string of trans women were men. PM Sunak supported Rowling stating that 'people should not be criminalised for stating simple facts on biology' after author dared police to arrest her for 'misgendering'

April Fools! Only kidding. Obviously, the people mentioned in the above tweets aren't women at all, but men, every last one of them.In passing the Scottish Hate Crime Act, Scottish lawmakers seem to have placed higher value on the feelings of men performing their ... It seems that there's some misunderstanding, perhaps deliberate, amongst the "pro-trans" crowd regarding Rowling's point.
Rowling didn't claim that trans people are not real. Rowling objects to appropriation of the word "woman" to refer to males who identify as adult females (which, up until recently, was the universal definition of "woman").
The idea that Rowling might face imprisonment for acknowledging that trans-women are not the same as non-trans-women is borderline ridiculousness. It's pretty much on par with The Emperor's New Clothes, but that seems to be the way our enlightened woke mob wants it. All the rest of us can do is roll our eyes (figuratively speaking, since observable eye-rolling might also result in a hate crimes charge) and play along.
This is utter BS.
You must have never read anything a sport's governing body deciding the rules to determine whether a transgender athlete can compete.

So I ask again what's the hurdle?
"Women should be able to feel comfortable in their own locker/changing rooms."
They should feel comfortable managing their own pregnancy too.
Your interest in women's rights starts and ends with "protecting" women from trans women. Meanwhile there's 20,000 women in Texas who are forced to carry their rapists baby to term. www.msn.com
Conservatives have zero credibility on women's rights.
Zero.
