Pro-Life Movement Not Required to Vote for Trump

Trump once said he had "great admiration" for Lila Rose's work. Now he's lost her support.

"People will need to vote their conscience in November. We're over two months out, so there's a lot of things that can change. I think that it's the job of the pro-life movement to demand protection for pre-born lives. It is not the job of the pro-life movement to vote for President Trump."

Sounds like Ms. Rose doesn't fully trust Mr. Trump. Weird, huh?

"... but perhaps he personally lacks principle on this issue,"

Which could be said about him on just about any issue.

It's not just "this" movement or "that" movement we'll be voting for or against this November.

We'll be voting for the most powerful person in the world.

Can you imagine what a insecure, sociopathic, narcissistic, person without an ounce of integrity and consumed with anger and greed would do with that kind of power?

And don't we all have the advantage of hindsight to remind us of the devastating consequences for the future?

buy take hwart Trumpers, as told "his beautiful Christians, you won't have to think about who to vote for after this election" He's going to fix that; but that fat traitor does still need your vote in this; the last election. And don't worry if he's too old, Don Jr. will be there to inherit the throne. Every mrmber and every group of people who have been in the Trump Cult, should realise that if he'll betray the anti-abortion crazies, he'll betray the rest of you when he thinks it will help him sieze power. Pretty obvious he fooled all the believers in the Trump Cult. He doesn't share beliefs with you because he has no beliefs beyond power, money and revenge against personal enemies who haven't respected him.

You can't be pro life if your policies result in the death of the mother.

The term is forced birth. Even if not feasible.

#8 | Posted by ClownShack at 2024-08-30 04:59 AM

Well, this is awkward. Trump is going around saying that "everyone" wanted Roe overturned. It's almost as though he has no idea what he's saying and couldn't care less.

Has Trump ever clarified how he intends to apply "some form of punishment" to women who choose to terminate a pregnancy?

In order to change the subject in a quickie walk-by question the other day, Trump said that abortion wasn't going to be an issue in this election.

He can't possibly believe that, but just by saying that he wants us to.

#10 | Posted by Twinpac at 2024-08-30 07:03 AM

The Donald is clearly insane...
The man has lost what few marbles he once had.

Only a party as craven as the GOP, with the utter
lack of a soul or a conscience like the GOP suffers from,
could even contemplate running a candidate as obviously
damaged as Trump is, ALL FOR THE POWER THAT BRINGS...

Truly, Trump and the GOP, were made for each other.

"In order to change the subject in a quickie walk-by question the other day, Trump said that abortion wasn't going to be an issue in this election."

Um, he could be right, his own insanity may push everything else off the headlines.

Pro-life. Uh huh.

Explain to me how anyone can be anti-abortion and pro-gun. Explain to me how anyone can be anti-abortion and also for closed borders. Explain to me how anyone can be anti-abortion and for forced deportation. Explain to me how anyone can be anti-abortion and for forcing poor off of welfare in every situation. And on and on...

Absolutely. Jesus wants you to "love your enemies" and to "turn the cheek" right before you squeeze the trigger.

Trump traded the probability of death of women for the ultra-right religious vote.

And proud of himself for doing so. The man was born without a conscience.

Very uncharacteristic of him, too. Usually he demands money.

DANNI

"Um, he could be right, his own insanity may push everything else off the headlines."

That would make for a full two weeks of rolling news feed on MSNBC.

Which reminds me ~ the reason Joe Scarborough has been off his morning show is because of what happened after the attempted assassination of Trump. NBC decided to switch to a rolling news feed withing telling Joe. When Joe and Mika finally came back on the air, Joe was furious. He made an on-air comment that the next time NBC decided to switch to a rolling news feed, they could find another host.

He and Mia are still missing. There's no word yet if NBC took him up on his offer.

Not from the ultra-right religious groups. Republicans have been courting that group for a long time now.

C'mon Twin, that's not correct. I've watched Joe and Mika every week since Biden dropped out except this one because they're on vacation, as is Willie Geist.

Morning Joe is the highest rated morning show on cable and Joe the highest paid morning host (along with Mika, whom they demanded be paid equally).

I don't know why AZ Central is blocked but I just read their report about why Joe and Mika haven't been on the air recently.

I like that show even if Joe is a pain in the ass sometimes. I hope Tony is right. I'd miss Mika.

I cannot find anything on Google regarding them actually leaving MSNBC or being asked to leave. They were upset about getting bigfooted during the Trump shooting coverage, but that was a one day story, not a prediction.

They were on both the week of the DNC and the week afterwards, then off this week. There are individual days when one or the other might not be on, but for the most part I haven't noticed any changes since Biden dropped out at the end of July.

That's the one day story I was referring to. I can't find a single story about them dated later than a month ago.

They missed one day because the network actually misled them, and that was it.

#29 | Posted by tonyroma at 2024-08-30 11:50 AM

Sorry, TONY

But they haven't been on my MSNBC all this week, including today. Willie has been hosting alone.

I know there was one occasion when they missed one Monday and were back on Tuesday. This MIA is more recent than the one to which you're referring.

I can't find any other source either. The Arizona Republic news story hinted that Joe and the execs at NBC have been exchanging some heated words after the rolling news decision but nobody is drawing any conclusions. Maybe they'll be back on Monday. We'll now then.

Pro-lifers don't support life after birth. Voting Republican is a vote to cut Head Start, school lunch programs, ending health insurance (the ACPPA - Affordable Care & Patient Protection Act), and other programs that enable people to live.
