Alan Dershowitz, the infamous attorney who defended criminal celebrities from O.J. Simpson to Bill Clinton to Donald Trump, has announced his departure from the Democratic Party following what he called the most "anti-Israel, anti-Zionist convention" he has experienced.

Yeah, the Israeli-Hamas war has stirred up feelings and opinions.

That's no surprise, because of, well, the Middle-East.

It may be decades before anything in that area is resolved.

OK, all that leads me to ask, why is this one person's opinion so important?

So far, based upon what I have read here, my comment is... meh.
