Former President Donald Trump said if he loses the election in November, Jewish voters "would really have a lot to do with that." The stunning comments came in front of the conservative Israeli-American Council in Washington, D.C. on Thursday night. In his remarks, Trump lamented the fact that most Jewish voters do not support him, despite his record of vehemently supporting Israel. Trump has repeatedly wondered aloud why his stance on Israel has not persuaded more Jews to vote for him.
The former president took matters a step further on Thursday by saying Jews could help torpedo his campaign because only 40% of that bloc supports him. (Trump overstated the number, as just 25% of Jewish voters say they plan to vote for him.)
What? No right winger comments? Again? I guess if it is not the Nooner they are scared to post here.

(www.vanityfair.com):
Once upon a time, before he became Donald Trump's running mate, JD Vance told his law school roommate he went "back and forth between thinking Trump is a cynical ------- ... or that he's America's Hitler." Obviously, the Ohio senator has since disavowed every negative thing he previously said about Trump. But he clearly shouldn't have, particularly when it comes to the Hitler vibes, given all the wildly antisemitic remarks Trump has made on the campaign trail"including the comment he made last night re: whose fault it will be if he loses in November. Spoiler alert: It's the Jews!

Driving the news: Trump said Thursday during an Israeli American Council event on combatting antisemitism, "If I don't win this election -- and Jewish people would have a lot to do with that, 60% are voting for the enemy -- Israel will cease to exist in two years."
- - - He also said that any Jewish voter who supports Vice President Harris "should have their head examined."
- - - It's the latest in a series of critical remarks the former president has made towards Jewish voters who support Democrats.
What they're saying: A handful of Republicans, asked about Trump's comments, offered what amounted to light pushback against their party's nominee. ...
