This is the hit on comedy shows. Watching the audience reaction shows they all thought it was obvious what was going on. So far you two are the only ones saying it wasn't what everyone else saw, so I'm curious - what was it to you?

For grins, I googled "trump did not pretend to have oral sex with a microphone" (I left off stand because of the way search works) and surprise! Everything was about him melting down over the microphone and then mimicking/pretending to perform a sex act on it.

Based on that I'm fairly confident you two are the "corner cases" on the obvious not being the obvious. IMHO of course. Sorry Tao.

Yav I'll admit that having read about it before seeing it I can definitely see how being prepped for it as trump --------- a microphone it looks that way, as Gal said especially with his mouth in that "O", that said though I tried to watch it without letting the preconceptions color how I viewed it and I can also see him doing exactly as his commentary says mimicking how he sounded through the microphone and how low it was positioned.

At this point it will probably live in the collective conscious as him imitating an oral act with a microphone and I can certainly see how. That said I feel like this is more like a viral meme story than what most who originally saw it without the commentary probably thought.

It doesn't matter much at this point but I kinda feel with how messed up a candidate Trump is this just distracts from the much more important moral, economic, and liberty threat he presents. Of course this close to the election it probably doesn't distract enough to matter, so I guess carry on having fun at his expense, he has certainly earned every bit of ridicule he gets.
