Beef Prices Are Soaring

The last time Americans likely noticed spiking prices at the grocery store was when eggs reached record-highs.

As the country continues to grapple with shrinking herds, experts say prices could continue to rise through 2025 and beyond.

June's consumer price index showed steak and ground beef prices are up 12.4% and 10.3%, respectively, over the last year.

Starting on day one, we will end inflation and make America affordable again, to bring down the prices of all goods.

Maybe if inflation gets bad again Trump will talk about Epstein to distract from it.

Inflation is transitory

IIRC that comment was about the specific kind of inflation we were experiencing and was and is accurate. A temporary increase due to supply chains, inventory, and a sugar hit from too much money injected into the economy.

This inflation is due to screwworm infections (IIRC) - like Bird Flu did to egg prices. You remember egg prices? You screamed at Biden for not controlling a virus and blamed him for egg prices. Egg prices are still high, by the way, but thankfully the past few months bird flu has significantly declined so we're seeing an easing on the price of eggs - finally. Of course Trump thinks they were down 400% 3 months ago (such an out of touch idiot).

BTW - Inflation is definitely heating up. Even the WSJ acknowledges that reality.

"he Wall Street Journal reviewed nearly 2,500 household items sold on Amazon between Jan. 20 and July 1 to track price changes; they found 1,200 of them had an increase. The analysis found notable increases, including a 30% jump in the price of a can of Campbell's soup, from $1.98 to $2.58. Other everyday essentials, such as deodorant, detergent and food products, saw at least a 5% increase."

That is substantial, and trump's big beautiful tariffs are just getting started!

Ah - screwworm wasn't included in the price of beef because that impact hasn't been felt yet by us.
"May 23, 2025 " The USDA has halted cattle imports and closed the border to fend off the screwworm parasite"potentially affecting future beef prices."

More to come. Hold on to your 10 gallon hats.

Drought, decrease in herd size, increase in feed prices and interest rates all contribute to the 9% increase in beef.

" Starting on day one, we will end inflation"

So, who do we blame?

The liar, for his lying' lies?

Or the cultists, who will LOVE child-rape, weaponization of DOJ, and inflation, as long as it comes from their cult leader?

Idiots like FishPedo are having trouble accepting the fact the people they irrationally hate were in fact making lives for Americans great.

NPR (National Public Radio) recently reported on the Nebraska Pork Producers Association in relation to a labor shortage. Specifically, NPR's report focused on the concerns of the association's executive director, Al Juhnke, regarding potential mass deportations under a new administration and the impact on the pork industry's workforce, according to NPR. The association's director of domestic marketing, Jane Stone, also promotes pork in various sectors.
The NPR report highlighted the anxiety among Nebraska pork producers due to the potential loss of a significant portion of their workforce. The association's leadership expressed concerns about maintaining production levels if deportations were to occur. The labor shortage in Nebraska is a broader issue, with the U.S. Chamber of Commerce Worker Shortage Index indicating a significant gap between job openings and available workers.
The Nebraska Pork Producers Association, through its staff like Jane Stone, actively promotes pork consumption and works to educate consumers about the industry. The association's website details her responsibilities in promoting pork in healthcare, retail, foodservice, media, and consumer education, according to the Nebraska Pork Producers Association.

If the United States really wanted to get rid of all the undocumented people (which almost 2:1 the United States does not want to do) then the way to do it is to make these folks DOCUMENTED and LEGAL.

Thinking the "free market" is going to "fix" things without costing a dime, that labor will just appear, and we're all going to dance under rainbows shooting from unicorn asses is more than magical wishing.

These are biological attacks by China on our food supply. First Covid then bird flu and now screwworms and wheat blight. Time for retaliation.
