Washington Post reporters Carl Bernstein and Bob Woodward helped to topple Richard Nixon during the Watergate crisis.
In our era, here is the New York Times:
"Landon Thomas Jr. worked as correspondent for the New York Times for almost 17 years, covering financial stories. The Epstein emails reveal that Thomas was also intimately involved in discussions with Epstein about Trump and offered advice to Epstein when other journalists were investigating him about sex trafficking.
In a 2015 email, Epstein asked Thomas, "would you like photso [sic] of donald and girls in bikinis in my kitchen." The reporter replied, "Yes!!!"
A dog can have fleas and ticks. For decades there was more than enough kompromat on Dummkopf Trumpf right here in the "good ole U S of A" to skewer him, had our federal and state investigators-- and the media-- put the pieces of the puzzle together properly. Note there is still nothing substantiated from the Christopher Steele Russia dossier about Dummkopf Trumpf, which probably has strands of accuracy in it anyway.
American bloodhounds barked "Kremlin!" but somehow well into the 21st century missed the powerful noxious scent from Mar-A-Lago and Jeffrey Epstein's nefarious islands and compound until it was too late. One wonders what former Special Counsels Robert Mueller and Jack Smith are thinking right now? Sidenote: Poor "Marine Corps Mueller" is suffering from advanced dementia, so we'll never know.
Thanks Landon Thomas Jr and New York Times!
Dummkopf Trumpf is mentioned in Jeffrey Epstein's emails over a staggering 1,000 times, the most cited person in the tranche released this week by the House Oversight Committee: www.miamiherald.com
@#28 ... We can't talk about Trump being a pedophile anymore!
We have to let him get away with his crime and ignore the Republicans covering it up! ...
Ya know what else is making that difficult to do?
The treatment that Ms Maxwell has received of late.
Not only being transferred to a country-club-like Club Fed facility (which do not usually accept sex offenders), but also receiving benefits while there that go above and beyond what others receive there.
Ghislaine Maxwell Has 'Customized' Meals Delivered to Cell and Pets Puppies -- Among Other Special Privileges: Lawmakers
uk.news.yahoo.com
... Ghislaine Maxwell, the longtime co-conspirator of Jeffrey Epstein, is allegedly receiving special treatment in prison, Democrats on the House Judiciary Committee claim.
Maxwell is serving a 20-year prison sentence following a sex trafficking conviction in 2021. She is currently incarcerated at Federal Prison Camp, Bryan, in Texas.
There, lawmakers allege in a press release, prison staff are waiting on her "hand and foot."
Democrats on the committee said in the press release that a whistleblower had come forward and revealed Maxwell's alleged favorable treatment.
According to the whistleblower, one of Maxwell's purported perks is having meals that were "customized and prepared by federal prison camp staff and then personally delivered to her in her cell by longtime federal employees."
Other allegations include Maxwell being allowed to go to recreation areas after hours and her visitors being given access to a "special cordoned off area for visitors to arrive, as well as an assortment of snacks and refreshments for her guests."
In one instance, according to the whistleblower, an inmate who trains puppies was instructed to give one to Maxwell for a period of time so she could "play with the puppy, even though neither inmates nor staff are ordinarily allowed to pet the service dogs in training."
Previously, NBC and CBS reported that Maxwell was seeking a commutation of her sentence from President Donald Trump. ...

The allegation: Harth claimed that Trump made repeated unwanted sexual advances as she and her romantic
partner at the time, George Houraney, pursued a business relationship with the mogul in the early 1990s. She
said that on January 24, 1993, at Mar-a-Lago, Trump offered her a tour of the estate, then pulled her into his
daughter Ivanka's empty bedroom.
"He pushed me up against the wall, and had his hands all over me and tried to get up my dress again," Harth
said, "and I had to physically say: 'What are you doing? Stop it.' It was a shocking thing to have him do this
because he knew I was with George, he knew they were in the next room. And how could he be doing this when
I'm there for business?"
In 1997 Harth and Houraney sued Trump for breach of contract, and she filed a separate sexual-harassment suit,
accusing him of "attempted rape." They reached a confidential settlement in the contract suit, and as part of the
agreement Harth withdrew her suit.

@#33 ... As I pointed out earlier, it's amazing that a master -------- artist like Lewzer just can't shake this. ...
Possibly because he has never had to try a cover-up for something like this before?
The drip, drip, drip, drip... of evidence that is being release (even by Republicans) has him on his heels and apparently floundering.
Ten Days That Shook Trump's Second Term
www.newsweek.com
... In the ten days since the 2025 elections, Donald Trump has faced a series of political blows that left his allies rattled, his base divided, and his once-durable administration suddenly strained. A humbling Election Day rout of GOP candidates up and down the ballots quickly gave way to finger-pointing, infighting, and the return of a scandal Trump had long tried to bury. ...

Notorious Islamophobe Alan Jerkowitz kvetched Jeffrey Epstein wasn't all that bad. Bleating to Chris Cuomo on NewsNation, Jerkowitz thought it prudent to clarify the nature of Epstein's crimes. "The predecessor on your show described Epstein as a convicted pedophile," the Trumpf defender whined to the brother of disgraced ex-NYS Governor Andrew Cuomo.
"[Epstein] pleaded guilty to one count of having sex for money with a 17-year-and-10-month-old person. That's not a pedophile." However, that investigation began after accusations were made about his interactions with a 14-year-old girl, and federal officials identified 36 similarly aged girls whom Epstein allegedly abused: Loser Defending Loser
