I don't know why he would bother. Trump is going to make him his VP.

Santos is officially running for Congress again, allowing him to raise money from the public and, potentially, spend it on his legal defense. Posted by reinheitsgebot

Which reminds me, Trump's gofundme is now up to $1.3 million. Only $353.7 million to go!

Dig deep MAGAts! The "billionaire" is counting on you emptying your checking accounts and maxing out your credit cards. Give till it hurts!

If a regime of serial liars half a world away can fool the majority of US politicians to support their ongoing Genocide why can't they also throw a bone to this guy?

If they elect this turd, they deserve him.

Note that it appears that Santos has moved as he's running for a different Congressional seat than the one he was originally elected to and from which he was removed from office. I guess he figures that the people in this new district have no idea who he is so he can recycle the lies and scams that helped him win the first time around, in that other district.

Investigation into where the campaign money is coming from would be a good idea.

Santos thrives on attention. This new gig will probably get his smug-mug some face time on TV.

I can't believe anybody would take his announcement any more serious than that.

Especially the mainstream media except to point and laugh.

Didnt Conservatives and Republicans throw Santos out of the house even though it cost them a seat? While Dems perpetually keep a NJ thief like Menendez perpetually around corrupting everything and storing his Egyptian gold bars?

Why not a serial liar running for Congress? After all, have a serial liar, rapist and insurrectionist running for president.

Whaaa! Justice is so slow! Welcome to our world.

The New York federal judge scheduled to preside over the bribery trial of U.S. Sen. Bob Menendez rejected on Thursday a defense request to delay the start of jury selection from May to July.

Judge Sidney H. Stein's order leaves in place a May 5 trial date in Manhattan for the New Jersey Democrat, who faces trial along with his wife and three New Jersey businessmen.

And Dems are not calling it a witch hunt or a hoax nor are they defending him. Nor will they threaten the judge or his family. Or bear his wife with a hammer. We will accept the verdict and if it is guilty he will be held accountable but I expect he will resign before being forced out.

Meanwhile ... Trumpy delays and delays and delays his being held accountable for his 91 criminal charges in a court of law and Republicans are still cheering him on and even paying his legal bills. Have you sent in your contribution to Trumpy's defense fund yet?

13. Why exactly is Santos a perfect MAGA? I may not agree with him but is it because he was straightforward? Specics not BS please?

"is it because he was straightforward?"

LOL.

No,it because he's "convicted by a court of record for the commission of a crime in relation to that individual's election to, or service to, the House."

Tarring and feathering is not good enough for this thieving grifter. How is he even allowed to run for congress? Come on folks time to pull the plug on these traitors and crooks by at least deport this scumbag.

@#18 ... How is he even allowed to run for congress? ...

Anyone (within the limits of the Constitution) can run for Congress.

What I am watching on this run is how the constituents of his district view him.
