GOP Impeachment Effort Falls Apart

Following testimony from special prosecutor Robert Hur who's investigation of Joe Biden failed to produce evidence of criminal wrongdoing, House republicans are now looking for the exit ramp on the Biden impeachment farce.

The apparent lack of will among GOP members may now setup an internal GOP struggle between the far right of the party desire to bring a vote, even a doomed one, to the floor and the less radical members who would prefer to not highlight another GOP failure ahead of November elections.

Evidenced by the fact that this sham committee went well beyond its sell-by date, they were more interested in giving President Biden as many black eyes as possible in the runup to the election.

In the meantime, coming across as fools went unnoticed by themselves. Not the first time for Jim Jordan either. He's made a career out of it.

However, the real culprit is Speaker Johnson. He knew exactly why Jim Jordan was begging to be named chair of the Judiciary Committee.

So did the more experienced President Biden who just sat back and watched the impeachment committee self-destruct. Probably even got a little chuckle out of it.

Now, as an exit ramp, the red-faced "Joint Committee to Impeach" has asked the DOJ to investigate President Biden and Hunter Biden for criminal activity.

They're also hoping (praying) that will appease Donald Trump.
