If I were into conspiracy theories, which I am not, I would point out that Trump got an enormous boost with conservatives out of his previous assassination attempt just DAYS before their convention. If he had not had the assassination attempt, there would have been significant public resistance and protests. But those magically and conveniently melted away after Trump got a shrapnel nick on his ear.

And, if I were into conspiracy theories, which I am not, I would point out that there is another convenient assassination attempt on Trump to distract from his disastrous debate performance and Vice President Harris's momentum.
