MAGAts Duped Into Buying Fake Golden Eagle Coins
Sounds like some of the more savvy MAGAts are spreading misinformation to drive down the price of Trump [not]Gold Coins (tm). The faithful should invest every last dime from the sales of their government cheese in the coins, no matter the cost.

So, you buy something for a price, and then trade it back to the folks who sold it to you for thousands of times the price you paid? They simply told you you were buying $20 bills for 50 cents? These people deserve what they get.

This can't be real.
I now MAGA is stupid. But even this is shockingly stupid for MAGA.

"He (Donald) said that he was going to help the people become millionaires. I could trade these in for cash at Bank of America. Supposedly $110,000 a piece,"
What world-class MAGA stupidity.
He's had all of ten years to learn that Donald is a criminal and all of his own life to learn that he himself is as dumb as dirt.
I'll bet he thinks that Canada and Mexico are really suffering this morning.

From 2023: www.ibtimes.com
"The ads claimed that buying a TRB membership card allegedly issued by Trump himself would allow a person who, for example, bought a "$10,000 Diamond Trump Bucks" bill for $99.99 to cash that bill in for $10,000 at major banks and retailers like Walmart, Costco and Home Depot.
One YouTube ad claimed that TRB system membership cards would "allow Trump Bucks holders to use Trump Bucks as legal tender and deposit them in banks such as JP Morgan Chase, the Bank of America and Wells Fargo." However, just a few seconds before this, the ad said that the Trump Bucks "are not legal tender."
One purchaser named John Amann told NBC News that he bought $2,200 worth of Trump Bucks and other items but allegedly failed to cash them in at his local bank."

You can call it MAGA, but I guarantee everyone(overwhelming majority) were elderly. There are plenty of scams that prey on the elderly, this one just targeted a specific voting block of elderly.
There are portions of your brain that deteriorate with age that specifically make you more trusting of scams like this. It's pure evil to prey on it.

These concepts aren't necessarily mutually exclusive.
You can be elderly and MAGA.
Also. I doubt anyone who wasn't MAGA bought these. (With the exception of the possibility of a historian or collector.)

The silver coins contain no silver and the gold eagles contain no gold. Unbelievable.

"Trump Bucks for Dumb ---"
I remember that scam. There will be more.
I said at the time we should start a "Trump Scam Defense" fund which would ostensibly fight the fakers who take good Patriot's money.
Then we take their money.
